Why doesn't Funimation dub Kamen Rider/SS

Well, Saban could still be the producer and have the dub done in either Texas or LA. Kind of like back in the 90s when he and funi were producers on DBZ and were having the voice work done in Canada before Funimation took full right.

...or something like that.

saban already knows this fan base couldn't sustain his needs for profits.... they would've already dub/subbed the entire franchise if it was already profitable at the beginning and not adapt them into PR.... plus the fact that it will endanger the image of PR...

the reality is no company wont give in to these request just for a handful of guys willing to look over asian stereotype special effects show...

Japanese animation, comics and films are brought over to the western world all the time. I honestly don't see the difference between all of that and this. Yes it's a niche market, but to you really think all the things I mentioned are raking in huge amounts of money?

Even if Saban won't dub Super Sentai, there are other series. Hell, you could have company dub Kamen Rider Hibiki, a very un rider-like series, and give it a new title like "Sonic Ninja Hibiki" or something.

we're so on the same wave length, its crazy:castlerock:

exactly thats my point. watch the clips in the first post, as far as dubbing is concerned they are amazing. and I'm not sure that some of you guys understand what I'm saying when i say i want them dubbed .

what I'm saying is that i want legal releases subbed/dubbed/or both of toku series not just sentai and kamen rider.

I want a legal way to represent the fan base that could actually generate better awareness.

I realize that saban has the rights but he's not doing anything with the original material. I think he should allow funimation the rights to releasing the original, uncut, subbed/dubbed/both series on DVD ONLY. and it doesn't even need to be sold in stores it could just be online, at least to start. they could stream episodes of the newest series and slowly release box sets for sale online.
You have no idea how ridiculous that sounds do you? I guess one guy can only dream  Dreams are a wonderful thing! :anime:

If they did this you all all cry blasphemy and then complain that company x and distribute y should have left your precious Kamen Rider alone.

Uncut or nothing. That's my stance.

I also have to wonder how ridiculous this sounds. They release niche market things from Japan all the time for a limited audience, why not the same for toku?

You must not have common sense to put 2 and 2 together because obviously, I can see many things going good for such releases, even if they were only subbed. Would you seriously believe anyone other than fans and interested adults would buy these sets? There's also teenagers as well who would buy some.

You can only find something if you really look for it and considering the availability of anime sets that are uncut, I don't see most kids looking for an uncut version of a series. The only problem is how the stores sometimes organize the sets into the kids section of DVDs and herein that lies the problem.

It's the stores' and the consumer's fault if they happen to put a set not made for kids (though I'd argue its not at all bad for them to watch anyways) and for the parents/kids who mindlessly plop it into the cart.... it'd be like plopping in South Park and expecting it to be a cute kids show .

I wouldn't. People barely cry about Sentai being turned into Power Rangers, so why not an uncut dub?

I'd love that. Now if they started dubbing them with quality and had the original with subtitle translations, I'd buy them. Mostly, I'd hope they'd release full mp3's of the themes and endings as I want to hear the themes sung by native speakers who don't sound like they are saying "Ass Energy" or "Rocket Paunch" or some strange sounding English we have to decipher.
