Oozura goes berserk, and the only way to make him see reason is a backhand. Makes sense.

Whenever I see a scene like that, I think of that bit from Airplane! where there's a whole line of people waiting to smack some hysterical woman. That's what it is to me.

Changeman Episode 36: Behold our Power!

I wonder, is the Earth Force anything like Spiral Power? Maybe Changeman caused the timeline of Gurren Lagann to happen.

Still a remarkably good episode, and the arc continues awesomely.

I don't know, isn't Spiral Power something that comes from within, while the Earth Force is the collective power of the entire planet?

And yes, this is an awesome arc.

Maybe, but I see Earth Force more as the will of the planet. It's the Earth Force that creates the Greatest Treasure in Gokaiger as well.

Changeman Episode 37: Dragon is Missing.

Caution: Rant Minefield Ahead. Proceed at own risk...

GAAAAAHHH! You were doing so damn well, Changeman and then this? How does Tsurugi basing himself off an owl make him a ninja? How does he get the Hidrer troopers into the disguises? If you're going to go with an owl, at least have the fight scene take place at night, damn it!

This is such a blatant batman riff, it could only be made more so if Tsurugi's parents were gunned down outside a theater showing Zorro.

And one hit is enough to disrupt the analytical machine monster's whole way of thinking? There was no way an unmorphed Tsurugi could have thrown that blade that hard.

Screw this episode. And the next episode looks like it's going to be obnoxious as well, with a return to the previously ranted upon baseball.

Yeah, this one was kind of dumb, but next to the horse episode and the baseball episodes, it just doesn't register to me as all that bad. But ooh, boy, if you thought the last baseball episode was self-indulgent...
