Gun X Sword? I agree about that and if you want a darker version of Kamen Rider, see for yourselves Kamen Rider's ancestor named The Skullman for that anime rocks.

I can't recommend GaoGaiGar enough. The TV show was amazing, and GGG FINAL was a life-changing experience.

I also highly recommend the original Captain Harlock and Fist of the North Star. Those two are available on Hulu, but all three of these shows are easily my Holy Anime Trinity.
