What does Power Rangers have over Sentai?

Rubbish. You obviously have a bias towards Wasserman. Ninja Storm, DT, Jungle Fury and RPM all have awesome themes.

You can't honestly think that this is a good Opening song?

As I said before, Power Rangers and Super Sentai Are Awesome in there own right, Sure power rangers uses the same costumes and props, but is it the same show? nope. but at times they do copy the sentai story for better or worse. but at times they make original story that are different from sentai. both have it flaws for example, in Zyurangers a lot of it is focus on the children of the week and not focusing on the original characters that much, While in half of MMPR Season 2 and 3 it was all about ''TOMMY'' TOMMY'' TOMMY''.

RX you can't really compare apple and oranges when it comes to MMPR and Gokaiger. There very different.

And yes we get it You Hate Gokaiger. you don't need to say in every thread lol.

To those who are arguing over the themes, I honestly hate having pop/ rock in the background & much more enjoy orchestral music in the background, however, both Sentai & PR seem to have trouble getting it right. Hell, in Sentai all they do is interject random orchestral/ ethnic music riffs into pop songs & play that specific part of the song during badass moments. PR, however, only had good background music in PRLR, TF & WF. Lost Galaxy, Mystic Force & Jungle Fury also had SOME good themes.

As for the theme songs, I'm a grunge/ contemporary rock kind of guy, so my favorite themes are PRT, PRiS, PRLG, PRLR, PRTF, PRNS & PRDT. That being said, decent Sentai themes are hard to come by. The only ones I like (and this is as a theme song, not as something I'd actually listen to) is Dairanger, Kakuranger, Gekiranger & Shinkenger. No offense, but, to me, every other theme sounds either incredibly gay or bland, with the exception of Dekaranger, which insults my intelligence by starting off with an amazing guitar riff, giving the indication that whoever wrote it is actually an artist... but then it degrades into just another bland ass song which doesn't even try tosound the least bit interesting again.

My opinion.

That's doesn't make him badass.

Alright, hows about this.

We could start with the fact that he chose to fight the forces of evil without really having a big choice in the matter, what with being mindwashed to BE evil and all that. He could have chosen to walk away-but didn't.

Then his powers were taken. He was forced to walk away.

However he came back, not in a best case scenario-but in the worst one almost any Ranger has ever faced.

His friends were all powerless, the villains had his Zord, and had their parents.

And he had powers that were as likely to kill him as not.

He took them up without hesitation and single handedly saved the day...nearly dying in the process.

Then he used these faulty powers and continued fighting.

Fought as hard and as long as he could until they failed-and still fought.

Then he gained new powers and became the leader of the team.

Through this more loss, more pain, hard choices and difficult situations arose.

Eventually he left the Rangers...

Only to keep tabs on them all the while, building up his own powers, and eventually mounting a team of Red Rangers to take down the Machine Empire once and for all.

Then, his crowning moment.

A T-Rex appeared out of no where.

And his first thought, first action, most LOGICAL conclusion

Was to round house kick it in the face. Without powers.

Tommy is many things. overrated? Maybe.

Badass? Definitely.

You could have summed that up a lot easier. Tommy is the only one of the original rangers who took the position seriously & was treated seriously as a character. Thinking back on it, what real character traits do you remember from any of the others that made them pop? The only reason they were diverse was because each person had differant fighting styles & differant skills. The only characters who popped at all were Tommy, Bulk & Skull.

Everything I say and do is convoluted. Besides, it's clear that Goth isn't going to take things at face value so I figured building up to round house kicking a T Rex in the face would work.
