Power Rangers DOES have a Doctor Who-like mythology

The Doctor was also the one responsible for transporting Death's Head (Transforfmers comic veteran) into the 616 Marvel Universe

Oh man I forgot about that! Bridge between Power Rangers and 616 achieved!

BUT HOLD ON! That's not all! Spiderman once fought G1 Megatron with the Autobots! So that's a link to another Marvel Universe!!

Oh and let's not forget that Power Rangers and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (live action version) share a universe! So discounting the whole dimensional travel thing this gives us a shared universe with:

This was around the same time Fox, the company airing PR at the time and its major backer, was making the Doctor Who TV movie.

I have a feeling, looking at past events, that if Doctor Who had succeeded back then, we WOULD have gotten an official PR/Doctor Who crossover.

What past events, you may ask?

Welp, there's the TMNT/PR crossover that everyone knows about...

And then, there's the X-Men Power Ranger crossover that was aaaaaaalmost made, but didn't get to production.

So yeah. For better or worse, we likely narrowly dodged the bullet of a Red Ranger punching a Dalek in the eye stalk.

I don't think the BBC would have ever signed off on that.

The Doctor Who TV Movie was in 1996, and Lost Galaxy in 1999. Fox's option to make a Doctor Who series had already lapsed, as that's when the Big Finish DW audios started.
