Using Cheat Guides for Final Fantasy

Yep, Final Fantasy games are played with cheats, as most others are. I mean, it's highly frustrating to be stuck at a certain point, so getting a cheat and overcome it it's a pretty good feeling. :)

I don't use cheats in Final Fanasty, I enjoy the challenge. But I don't see anything wrong with using a strategy guide because in my eyes it's not cheating. Some of the Final Fanasty levels are very complex and if your trying for 100% completion the only way you're going to get it is with a strategy guide.

Yeah, I generally don't use cheats too, simply because that makes the game shorter, less challenging. At the same time, if I get terribly stuck for some reason, I just youtube a solution or so, no way I am getting too stressed out about it.

My nephew and niece pretty much demand me to enter cheats for any game that they want to play. If no cheats exist, they simply won't play the game :D

Right, my young nephew is like that. He will want cheats for the Batman Games and for Call of Duty, he will put it on easy. However, it seems like that would bore, even a 7-year-old.

Yeah, I'm wondering the same thing. But they are simply too immersed in the games, and are literally too scared to play them if I don't enter the cheats so I have to do it. I used to be the same when I was a kid.

I think cheats are often the way to finish the game quickly. And so the fun of gaming goes away. It's kind of cop out these days to run away from problems. Virtual world allows us to do the same.

Now that I think about it, I definitely miss this sort of immersion that I got out of games when I was a kid. It was kind of hard playing games when I was afraid of everything but at the same time it was more enjoyable. I can now play a horror game without ever even flinching. It's just not the same :(.

The fun that I get from playing games die whenever I use cheat guides to play games and this is the reason I don't think that I will be tempted to use the cheat guides to play Final Fantasy no matter how difficult each city will look for me as regards conquering. The challenge of winning on a fair ground is the joy that I get and using cheats is far from my to-do list while playing.

You have point on this and this is kind of confusing to me on how some gamers can't be patient to find a real way to move from one city to another while playing Final Fantasy. To me, it is no need boasting that you've finished a level when you know that you cheated on it.

I honestly tried using cheat guide because that level was so hard for me and I was so excited to the next level but I find it so boring. If you use a cheat guide, you will no longer be excited to win. I agree with the comments above. If you want have fun then better play without cheating.
