ULTRAMAN SAGA - Rumors and Pictures

... the Powers-That-Be at Tsuburaya have decided to neuter the mode-changing abilities of the Heisei Ultras.

Especially Dyna. :shakefist

I'm comfortable with that. Though Tiga and Dyna have reasonable uses for their form changes (unlike, say, Mebius), I'm generally prefer Ultras sticking to a single form.

With Cosmos, this movie would've made changing forms a necessity, wouldn't it? I mean, Luna form is not very combat-oriented, and is for monsters he intends to purify instead of actually kill, right?

Mebius' forms were really power-ups, weren't they?

Saga News

On the M-78 blog, it states that the February 29 Retsuden will be a special preview of Saga, which includes an examination of the Zetton villains. It will also include a follow-up to "Killer The Beatstar," where Zero is recalled home, and debriefed by, Zoffy. Zoffy will also serve as a co-host, at least for this episode.

Then, on the UltramanSaga site, Tsuburaya has already uploaded their version of last night's 3-D screening, along with a trailer for the movie in the last 30 seconds or so.

Something regarding the ultra brothers in this movie
[HIDE]According to someone who went to see the preview screening, majority of the movie focuses on the AKB members and the fight scenes between the ultra brothers and the modified kaijus have very little screening time. Guess it'll be something similar to their appearance in the zero movie.[/HIDE]

Did they at least focus on SUPER-Guts and Asuka? Since I know this movie is more focused on earth than it has been for the past few movies.

With One Hand Tied Behind Their Backs ...

Sure; if you want Dyna and Tiga to fight with one hand tied behind their backs, and both feet encased in concrete.

Point is; they're literally at 1/3rd of their powers - and that's not enough. Now, if they had evolved to the point where they had those powers in their default forms, that would be ok. Otherwise, no.

Letting you know ahead, so you won't curse when you watch the film:

[HIDE]Ulra Brothers' fighting scenes are omitted. No, none. Not little. It's zero. They will show up in the beginning of the film in their human forms for only 2 or 3 minutes talking about their concerns of Alien Bat's scam.
Asuka has the least screening time compare to Taiga and Musashi. [/HIDE]

Yeah. That's why Cosmos(Luna mode) usually use Luna Extract on the monsters to calm them down.

Without Hikari's Knight Brace, Mebius only has Burning Brave with him.

Oh well, at least Tsuruno got some screening time. It's still a pleasure to even have him reprise his role.
