Just a few hours ago, director announced 3D version of the film is finally finished, and the screening will be hosted at the end of the month.

I would have liked it to be a more...rock-like. Girls Next Door was much better, but I think would have been awesome for Tsuruno and DiVA to collaborate. I think I would have died if I could hear Masuda Yuka and Tsuruno Takeshi sing together.

I have to agree that they should be using Takeshi Tsuruno for more songs on the album. After all, he's been a member of several successful music groups and his musical career is still going. Not as strong as it used to be (twice), but still going reasonably well.

The poster seems unsure of a couple of parts so I'll just leave his/her ???'s in. They separated the lines out by who they think is singing, but when I googled it seems that those might not be accurate.

I should move ahead, tomorrow is over there

The trees grow thick, hiding the future
Even if I stop, I cannot see the sun
??? the trees, I step forward
My footprints remain upon the damp earth

Don't just look at an old map, it's the past shape of the forest

Hmmm, I'd suspected that the English letters in front of each line might've referred to who was singing that particular line - thanks for confirming that (more or less). That's probably what was throwing the Google Translation off.

But, your translation clearly confirms the sense of the song, which I think is far more appropriate for the movie - and the franchise.

Since they're on Avex, I wouldn't be surprised if the lyrics were by Shoko Fujibayashi. She always seems to make meaningful lyrics for these kinds of things.
