ULTRAMAN SAGA - Rumors and Pictures

Actually, Mebius did switch to Brruning Brave in Ultra Galaxy Legends. No Ultra bothers m with lack of form-changing than Cosmos, honestly. Considering that Luna mode is only for use against monsters he doesn't intend to kill. and Eclipse mode would've given a really nice red/blue/silver color balance if used in Saga.

I'm not really sure why they don't do form-changing at all these days. Ultra form-changing is simpler than the form-changing they have in Kamen Rider. And the (relatively recent) Hit Song History videos did demonstrate the different forms rather well, despite only giving a few minutes focus for each Ultra.

I really like Tiga/Daigo, but I don't feel that he really needs to return. Things were pretty much wrapped up with him.

I'm guessing if they did mode-changing, it would be confused for those kids who didn't watch the series. Those who know they can mode-change are probably adults by now.

Though I'm pretty sure this problem can be solved if they just aired those series on TV again.

So, you mean something like... Retsuden?

I wouldn't really mind the lack of mode-changing if Cosmos actually used one of his combat forms instead of Luna mode.

Which One?

Corona? Or Eclipse?

I wouldn't mind the lack of mode-changing so much - if they had access to the special powers in their default forms. Like, if Dyna could use the Miracle powers while still in his Flash Mode.

Or, if the human hosts started gaining some of the powers in their human forms. Like flight, force fields, energy projection, etc.

Eh?

Mirai/Mebius did that once in episode 44.

What happened in "Ace's Wish"? What powers did Mirai exhibit - and why?

Technically speaking, though, Mirai isn't a *host*. He's a native Ultraman who's taken a *human* form. Presumably, to maintain his human disguise, he doesn't, or can't do anything extraordinary - without morphing. Or, does he have access to far more limited versions of his normal Ultra powers?

He used his Ultra barrier/force field in his human form.
There are quite a number of episodes where he perform something extraordinary, like able to communicate with his mind etc.
