Ultimate Spider-Man - Talk Up!

The show reminds me of a filler episode of a Shonen Anime with some Saved By the Bell and a lot of Seth Macfarlene influence. Full of crazy faces and cutaway gags. I think the animation is wonderful and can really dig the characters and them all being in school. Some jokes are genuinely funny like the wall of shame joke and some of White Tigers lines. Some jokes made me cringe like the Jetpack joke after the second and third time. Dr. Doom and his Doombots were great.

The comments about this show fitting kids with ADHD have grown and grown...

this show looks like it was made for people with ADHD and can't focus for five seconds

So many things flying at you that you can't process it all.

I forget; this show doesn't expect it's audience to do anything besides play "ULTIMATE MARVEL VS. CAPCOM" and buy Marvel Merchandise until they OD from ADHD.

I couldn't even get through the third episode. I'm a lifelong Spidey fan, but I downright hated this episode. It was ridiculous, insulting, and seemed as if it was written by a group of 9-year-olds with ADHD.

I have a real problem with shows that treat it's audience like they are single celled organisms.

Episode 4 preview

When will this cartoon geared toward the ADHD crowd be over?

Great preview!

Just saw episode 3 and I was actually impressed with Maurice LaMaurche (I think I got his last name spelled correctly) portrayal of Dr. Doom. I mean his David Warner impression was really a shocker. The episode was somewhat funny mainly on the whole Spidey/Nova rivalry:laugh: But my favorite was the Nick Fury pep talk on the team's decision to take down Doom "If you ever pull a stunt like that again, I will personally blah-blah-blah-blah-blah-blah-blah-blah":rofl2:

Funny stuff.

That was the best episode yet...basically anything with Venom is fantastic, and seeing him jump from host to host and take their powers was great. Still not a fan of Doc Ock's voice..but I liked him creating Venom.

I think they're doing their own thing here, with Spidey, Iron Fist and Power Man being teenagers and Cap, Iron Man being adults

Although for the record in the Ultimate comic universe the Venom symbiote was created by Peter and Eddie Brock's fathers as a potential cure for cancer.

Is this based off the Ultimate franchise or something? Cause that Venom origin was nothing like it actually should be.

Yeah, I'm not sure how I feel about Venom being created in a lab and all. But this week's episode was definitely better then last week's, and I think it found the right balance of seriousness and comedy.

I'll be honest I wasn't too fond of this show at first. Some of the comedy (while enjoyable) felt a bit overdone. But now I feel like I'm sort of used to it. The jokes don't make me LOL every time but they at least get a smirk out of me; I can see the direction they're taking with this series and I don't hate it.
