The only times I have dealt with them they have been cool. I remember a few years ago, I paid for a mini Revolver Mammoth for 80 bucks, and they sent the full sized DX Revolver Mammoth!!! So I paid 80 bucks for a toy that they were charging 380 bucks for. I wouldn't go through them unless HLJ is out of what you are looking for tho.

i've never seen anything bad about this place. But then again i shop there in person....

The clerks are always really helpful...

..don't ask me about how it is ordering online though... i've never done it >_<

Miaka975 is correct...they are VERY cool IF you are there in PERSON. However, their online etiquette just friggin' sucks @$$. I mean, I really found it odd that their online "treatment" was so different from their "in store" treatment.

Ridiculous.

I got dicked around too many times from them "online" to order from them again...although I do not mind in the least being there and shopping in person.

Henshin safe, and don't even bother with TNJ unless it truly is your last resort.

Toy n' Joys is bad!!!

I've attempted to order multiple times, even though I correctly completed the orders, the items arrived. They also never responded to any of my e-mails. I guess I'll just stop ordering.

it's not the prices, it's the delivery, they say if u order something : in 1 week will be it delivered, but it always takes 2-4 weeks -.-''

The only thing ive ever gotten from them was when KOF came out to the USA on GBA. I Preordered that game from them and i didnt have any problems.

Other than that, the figures is what seems to be something i might buy from them, but then again theres Hobby Link Japan to choose from. Id rather do HLJ...

Okay, let's just add another TNJ horror story:

They screwed up big time on some DVD's that my buddy ordered. Anyway, he went to Oahu on some other business, and stopped right outside of TNJ in Kaimuki and talked to the dude who handles most of the internet orders. (According to TNJ, only ONE guys deals with all that stuff.:disappoin )

So he is ON THE PHONE with the guy, trying to clear up the DVD screw up. My buddy asks the guy how long he is gonna be in the store because he is about a half hour away. The guy says, "I'll be here all day."

So BOOM...my buddy walks in the store as soon as he hangs up the phone asking for ****. One worker goes in the back, then comes out and says, "**** isn't here." So my buddy says, "Oh, okay...was he in the store at all today because I gotta straighten out getting fucked over on some DVD's **** charged me for." The worker says, "No...no...he hasn't come in yet."

At this point my buddy is ready to choke the living **** outta someone. He steps out the store and calls me up...raging. I told him don't do nothing stoopid, or I will have to post bail for him and blah blah yada yada...Now, mind you he is talking to me outside of TNJ.

WHO should he see IN the store? Yep...that guy who handles all the internet ****, ****!!! My buddy charges in, and starts going off verbally only...he said the looks on their faces was worth the DVD **** up...

AGAIN...IF you are physically IN TNJ, it's pretty much all good, but their internet services suck @$$!!!
