Toys N Joys Question

Hey guys,

I would just like to your your good and bad experiences with Toys N Joys. I already asked a few people (such as Keith and FreedomBlack) but I would like to know more about them. I might get the Master License from them (plus maybe some other future purchases).

I was gonna order the DekaBikeRobo, SP License and five 6" Magiranger figures from TNJ but cwk from eBay gave me a little break on shipping so I got it from him. I also told him that HJ highly recommened him due to his excellent service.

While sometimes the wait had been long, these guys are solid and reliable.

Through email they're ****, and don't get back to you.

Through the phone, they were very prompt and detailed.

You might want to check the Japan Hero Store too. Fastest delivery yet and you know Jeff is down, so that's a solid place to check if they got what ya want.

Don't order from them. Whatever you do, don't order from them. ToyNJoys is almost as bad at Buyrite and they finally went under about a month ago. Maybe if you lived in Hawaii then you might get some service and your product upfront in one of their stores. It's their online store/customer service that needs lots of improvement. You'll put in a order then your credit card will get charged. You then wonder where your product is days/weeks later.

Apparently "Next Day" in Hawaii is Next Week for the Rest of us.

Yeah, I had a really bad experience with them buying a Faiz figure. It took over a month of phone calls and emails before I even got an acknowledgment that the figure was backordered. I did finally get the figure, months later, but I will never deal with them again if I have any other options. I say stay away.

I worked with them to get my Bray Throttle as a last resort. Hell I got it in less than 2 weeks. You just need to call em. It never hurts to call them BEFORE you order your item, then ask them how many they have in stock at the moment. A couple days later I called them back to make sure that the item would be shipped and they said id have a tracking number bu the evening, which i did and the money was taken from my account. Now the part that sucked was the tracking. They implimented a new system, which i had the luxury of being the 2nd person to use it.... It never updated, so several days later i called them up and they told me what i just typed, and that it was indeed shipped eing that i got a tracker number. LOL The next day it was on my kitchen table when I came home from work! Oh and the tracking site went from "item is not in the mailstream....." to "package deliverd to ..blahblah" Again they are good for a last resort and their service for me at least was very helpful as long as you do the work and stay on em. Plus its great when yer put on hold and get to hear Island 98.3 Hawaiian and Regae music ^_^ Very mellow haha

I did what you said when I ordered the License and the Brace Throttle from them. Their shipping was pretty fast! It took only 4-5 days (in total).

I will buy from them again sometime!
