A bit delayed with no pictures, but...
Yesterday evening, I bought my girlfriend her first 3DS, Midnight Purple color, and Pokemon X. She lives in North Carolina, so I just mailed it to her today. It was supposed to be as a Christmas gift, but I didn't want her to wait on playing Pokemon X and the upcoming Legend of Zelda: A Link of Two Worlds so late in the game.
Second paycheck, and the only thing I've used it on for myself is food and Pokemon Y...probably by my fourth paycheck, you may actually see some figures.

So I emailed Mandarake like you suggested and they got back to me about it. They asked me for photos and so I sent those. Now it seems that they'll replace the item for me if I send them back the broken one and they'll reimburse me the shipping cost. Seems like a hassle and a bit of a wait, but hey, at least they're doing something about it!

Yeah they're a good store. i had a Macross toy where the gun was broken, they got me a replacement gun, and because it was so small, just threw it in with my next order from that store.

All Decade's Fault
Play Arts are 1/7 - 1/8 scale, though some of them might be a bit bigger or smaller. Basically they're a pain for me, because I like all those figs but don't want to get stuff that's not in scale with my Figuarts/Figma (1/12-1/13 I think).
On the other hand if you're more of a video game character fan, Play Arts Kai works out. You get Master Chief, Noble Six, Adam Jensen, Solid Snake, Raiden, Sam Gideon, Preacher(!), Commander Shepard, and a whole lot of other videogame heroes (not even counting the FF characters). So in effect, a Play Arts Kai collector potentially can make a badass army of nothing but videogame protagonists...
And as I mentioned ages back: The only way PAK can add insult to injury of me not buying any play arts figures is to make a Play Arts Kai Captain Price from MW3...
On the other hand if you're more of a video game character fan, Play Arts Kai works out. Beast Hunters Deluxes were marked down to 10$ so I treated myself and got a Smokescreen. I also picked up an SD BB Legend Musha Gundam and Knight Gundam kits.
