Nostalgia is a hell of a drug. (I bought the MMPR DVDs last year for fun and have just gotten around to seriously watching them. Also: thanks, anniversary commotion.)

I always liked Jason more than Tommy, but having seen Sentai before PR and knowing that Red was always supposed to be top dog, it was always hard to get past the way Tommy takes over the show and how Jason gets replaced with a useless dumb-ass like Rocky. Wasn't the totally lackluster way they write out Jason, Zack and Trini bad enough?

Oh, well. I'm looking forward to Zeo -- Jason Lives! (I don't really remember much about Zeo, because that's when I had stopped watching PR with any regularity.)

Dark, be careful when you open your Shinkenger set. People have reported having Red stuck to the plastic tray, and if you rip him off, it takes the paint off the coat. One solution I guess is to heat the tray up and then remove him.

Why is that Jason? Why not Rocky? He was in that suit for far longer than Jason.

Not that I care really. Those two are Burai and Geki to me all the way. My only Jason is the Red Ranger with the Akiba pieces on.

Tommy only replaced Jason because Saban knew Austin st. John was leaving a few episodes later so had Tommy not become leader.... Rocky would have eventually become the leader :laugh:
