Yay, more stuff!
- TF Prime Voyager Class Predaking: Saw this (and Optimus) last at Target & I couldn't pass up his awesome Mecha Fire King Ghidorah mode, which he will probably stay in once I open the package.
- Iron Man 3 Assemblers 3.75" figures: No lie, these figures feature pure Craptacularticulation (I've trademarked that term, BTW) but they're also pretty much the only planned 3.75" versions of these movie armors. The sculpt details & paint apps are good, but the only real motion is in the shoulders. War Machine's arm cannon accessory is pretty good, but Iron Patriot & the Mark XLII are best off as shown.
- G.I. Joe Kre-O minifigures: Alley Viper (the REAL Alley Viper, mind you - if it's not day-glo orange & blue, IT'S NOT AN ALLEY VIPER) and Crimson Guard. Alley Viper comes with an additional, shorter shield. Package codes for AV end with a 75, the CG one ends with 78.
- Colantotte Magtitan NEO Legend bracelet: Remember in Avengers when Tony Stark got thrown out of his tower by Loki & called the new Mk.VII armor to him as he fell? This is what he was wearing on his wrists, which the armor locked onto. I'd been considering one of these since last summer, but the price was prohibitive, even for a titanium bracelet. And I'm not even sure I buy any of this magnetic field crap anyway. But then Mr. Tax Refund showed up this week, and I noticed this was $60 cheaper through Amazon, so I pulled the trigger. Hopefully, I'll at least be able to call an older Armor to me.
- Iron Man Legends Heroic Age Iron Man: I love this armor, right from the moment I first saw it. I own three of the 3.75" version (one was to create a fixed pose mini statue, and the other came in the Red Hulk 3-pack) and when I saw the full IM3 display at Target, this is what I locked in on. It's the only new sculpt in this first wave & I'm sure he'll be the harder to find of the three. Aside from his shoulders & biceps, he's molded in this funky metallic red plastic that has all these crazy swirls throughout. While it's not as vibrant as the 3.75" version's painted red, it looks really nice in certain lights, and it makes me want an Iron Man bowling ball.
- MARVEL Legends Hit Monkey Series Ultimate Captain America: My favorite character from the Ultimate Universe (either one) and I'm glad to finally have an affordable 6" version. The main body is a reuse of the Wave 1 Commander Rogers figure, but the gloves & boots are new sculpts. The head is partially new, using the Commander Rogers head as a starting point & basically smoothing off the hair to create his cowl. I LOVE his stern expression & I'm glad they kept it here. No Hit Monkey parts were included, those are only packed in with the three variant/switchout characters.
