...Oh what a suprise, TZs' favourate subject, thrashing older cartoons, has been bumped back up. Frankly, the only good thing about this thread are the slams against Matt Wilson. These guys are assholes, next year they'll be thrashing X-Men: Evolution in comparison to the new X-Men series about to arrive. Fucking sheep.
They claim a lot of these shows have had bad writing...Teen Titans, when its' not serious, is cheesy, comedic, and badly written, there contradicting themselves constantly
A lot of their input is always nitpicking at the animation of those particular times, when you're the age of five, they did'nt give a damn, why should it matter now? If it entertained them, they did their job, and can still be enjoyed by current generations, generations their half assed reviews provide a disservice to by saying they blow...they sometimes have such a disrespect for the animation industry its' laughable. I've never bothered with their reviews for series like Penelope Pitstop or Flying Machines because I dont; like to provide a disservice to animation historians, present or future or otherwise. I'm an apprecative broad animation fan, a lot of the guys on the forums on TZ are, but the ones in charge [/I]ARE NOT.
...You CANNOT make **** like this up....I just found this line right here when someone posted about Wilson and TZs' alleigences to WB
Matt has nothing to do with the WBC Board, and I personally find it very insulting that you would implicate that he doesn't deserve to be part of the staff simply because he doesn't like a particular cartoon. Heck, I'm a Boomerang moderator and I think more than half of HB's TV cartoons are completely unwatchable!
...Hes' a Boomerang mod, he hates half of their programming, and hes' defending a guy like Wilson who runs his mouth all of the time instead of being a professional in his positstion
...Get these people out of power. PLEASE, I'll say it once more, I respect TZ for what they DO accomplish well, but when it comes to their cons, they are some of the worst "professionals" out there today.
...Ugh, I'm sure a lot of other people want to exchange displeasures about other forums/sites they frequent, but I just had to get this out there, this is bullshit.
