Character design can make or break an animated show or movie. Whether it's the unique quirks of a character's appearance or the storytelling elements woven into their design, some characters just stick with you long after the credits roll.

I've been rewatching "Avatar: The Last Airbender" lately, and the designs are just so iconic! I love how they reflect the characters' personalities and backgrounds, especially Zuko's evolving look throughout the series. Then there's the fluidity of Aang's movements that captures his airbending style so well!

What about all of you? Who's your favorite character design from any animated work? What about it resonates with you? Could be from Western animation, anime, or even classic films! Let's celebrate those designs that are just too good to forget!

Zuko's design in "Avatar: The Last Airbender" is such a fantastic example of character evolution through visuals! I love how his scar tells so much about his history and struggles, and as he transitions from that angry, conflicted teen to a more confident and composed figure, his attire reflects that growth beautifully.

For me, one of my all-time favorite designs is Mob from "Mob Psycho 100." The simplicity of his look really emphasizes his character's internal struggle and emotions, the way his hair and expression transform during intense moments of psychokinetic outbursts is just stunning. Plus, the animation during those sakuga scenes is a masterclass in fluidity and impact!

What are some designs that have really stood out to you in newer series? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
