According to this, a new Tomica Hero series will start in 2011. The story involves a branch of the UFDA called the World Police Department fighting Super Crimes caused by the Geistron Pirate Empire, who are looking to steal treasures vital to the planet. Robot battles are going to be CGI again and the robots themselves will look like Zoids and Transformers, both other Takara properties. It's also said the new series will contain elements of the Yuusha series.

The general word seems to be that Takara's CGI team was working on Space Battleship Yamato most of this year.

Well I think they just found a convenient time slot for it when Rescue Fire ended.

Even though I've never managed to watch the full series of both Rescue Force and/or Rescue Fire, I've watched about 2-3 episodes from each series and I liked the Tomica Hero franchise as a result.

When I do have the chance after I finish my current priority in terms of toku watching (Ryuki), I will advance myself over to the first 2 Tomica Hero series and try to get thru them both.

To finish this off, I'm personally happy that we're gonna continue on with the Tomica Hero franchise since I did like both Rescue Force & Fire (despite not finishing both series in entirety)
