It's true that toy debuts can goose Sentai's ratings a little. Wizard was also up this week, though... did it have any new toys/forms/etc?

It had another new magic ring with a new spell, but that's it. No new weapons or forms.

I thought this was going to be annoyingly harmless fluff, but we learned that when Jin is joking most is when he is angsting inside and listening to Evanescence.

Edit: Didn't expect the Buddyzord to appear so soon.

So last week we had a red arm. This week we get a red leg. I'm assuming these are meant to be parts of Messiah's new body when he's reconstructed? But I don't see how you can have 11 more body parts when the pieces are that big, unless his final form is non-humanoid. I guess we'll have to see if any of the Messiahroids turn up with one big red wing.

Not my favourite extra mecha debut tbh. But the teaser for next week certainly has me interested in finding out what a girl and her dad are doing building their own zords.

Is there any reason (aside from rule of cool) that Hiromu's new Powered Custom final attack is called Volcanic Attack?

I'm digging the new direction of the story. I was getting afraid that they would stray in a completely different direction in terms of tone and style after the Gavan arc. Wasn't expecting a whole lot from last weeks previews, so Hiromu and Jin throwing down with words (and not just physically) was pretty awesome.

I'd have to say though, that my favorite parts of this episode and the last was Enter finally putting his foot down and showing Escape who's boss. It's surprising it took him as long as it did, seeing as how she acts like nothing but a spoiled brat.

I am a bit dissapointed. They could have covered up a huge plothole by making the Buddyzord Enter's creation, using the plans that he stole earlier in the show.

I am also dissapointed at how the retooling has treated Escape's character. It seems like she is only there now to make Enter look cool.
Why wouldn't he allow her to fight the Gobusters anyway? It would give the Metaroid more time to collect data.
