Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters, Ep 29 - "Breaking into Hyperspace"

A thought on re-watching the preview:

[HIDE]It shows things corresponding to Escape and Enter: the dogs, a pair of goggles, and a photo torn in half of a white dude with the words "Tres bien!" written across it. That suggests to me that Enter is not Hiromu's father but a French guy who worked at EMC with them. Or maybe he's a fusion of that guy and Hiromu's father?)[/HIDE]

I'm guessing Messiah will be taken down next week but the other two will stick around. Getting rid of Messiah and Escape at the same time would feel rushed, and I get the feeling they want to devote an episode to Ryuuji taking down Escape. Enter seems like he'll be around a while longer.

If they get rid of Escape, I'd be pretty damn mad about this, especially since she has been mostly MIA ever since her introduction. I'm not sure I understand their reasoning for not only minimizing her character but also taking her out after only a few episodes. Whatever the problems that are plaguing the series right now, I doubt she is the cause of all that, and removing her will not bring the rating back up.

Enter will likely become the main villain if he doesn't die next week, so, in that scenario, Escape's role just wouldn't fit in anymore. She wasn't designed to be Enter's servant but his equal.

Still, I can also see all three being destroyed next week, with some revelation regarding Messiah's creation leading to a new villain for the show's last 20 episodes.

Enter seems to be slightly more popular than Escape - he is in the second OP and got a character song. Original plans to keep him until the end could have changed, but I can also see him vanishing for several episodes and then returning for a last big battle like Juuzou or Basco

Watched the episode ; it was full of action and at last, the heroes have gone to the hyperspace;
However, this episode feels more like episode 49 than episode 29; this bttle seems to be the great battle that has been prepared through the whole series.
I guess there is gonna be other enemies afterwards, but Messiah has always had a "Big Bad" feeling, with the fght against him being the "Final Boss fight"; and the all the previews telling the audience "final battle " don't help either.
Taking another example of a sentai series which had a good bunch of main enemies who were defeated halfway through the series (Turboranger, which had also a big ratings decline compared to the previous sentai), in that case, they kept the Big Bad, so the fight didn't feel "final fight" in that case.
As a result, that arc seems pretty puzzling, and I even feel that it's somewhat rushed.

damn it man, i cannot believe how cruddy this episode was. I mean it was good overall i suppose, but I feel now they are just totally throwing away every little setting they set up to this point. i'm not too sure if there were others, but the two obvious ones are:

-in the last scenes, why didn't Hiromu seem like he was in much stress when driving? I mean even for SUPER short fights it looked like he had a hard time since Great GoBusterOh would just suck the LIFE out of him...
-Override system? wtf is this? i thought this only lasted for 30 seconds, where is the explanation to them increasing the time?? there was only like a one episode gap to this, if they knew they were going to do this, they might as well added a line of Jin saying "oh i improved the system" or some bull.

The things that made this show fantastic has now really gone to the toilet with this episode. And Nick HAD A FREAKING GUN?? Why has he NEVER used this??

I hope all of these are explained next week. If not, I'm gonna consider Ep30 the final episode of this series. The rest should be considered a lesser sequel.

Nick had guns from the beginning. The first wave of toys had him having them.

I really hope the last 20 episodes aren't just random monster of the week battles against Vaglass remnants.
I could sort of see this happening if they take a Macross-like approach. Have the remnants be general type characters that we never saw before but were always there, maybe doing their thing in a different part of the country.

Without Messiah around, I just can't see what an Enter-specific plot would involve. All of his desires so far have been to free Messiah, so they would need to really flesh his character out...which I think would have happened at some point later on in the show either way. This would just move that aspect to the forefront.

There were a few hints in recent episodes that his loyalty to Messiah was slipping, since Messiah had tried to replace him with Escape. I can maybe imagine him turning against Messiah (especially if Escape is destroyed trying to save/avenge it) or else trying to carry on Messiah's wishes after it's gone

Friends, I do not believe that Go-Buster ends with 48 episodes. I would say that ends with 49 or 50 episodes. Let us no longer on the cursed ratings. I told them that I like the series as it is and its style and not talk about more than that for a long time.
