Toku Fight Scenes

That was more my ribbing the fans of CGI-fests like Ryuki and Blade, who have trouble watching older stuff. I just didn't know Agito now falls under "older stuff." That's a double  and :nono:

CGI for me is just another effect. And a better effect. Definately an improvement over the almost embarassing blue-screen I saw used early on in Agito and amd thankful they haven't done again. Agito "older stuff".... relatively, yeah. Doesn't make it overall bad in my book tho.

Anyway, I fail to see this wonderful lesson that Tendou teaches everyone (unless it's the lesson of how to have bangin' hair). Being a complete and utter pud in hopes that someone spineless like Kagami will "do well" is just...no, that's not good. Wait for more episodes of Agito -- see Shouichi's more natural way of inspiring the other characters to be better people. Shouichi's not the kind of guy who wants to stalk and beat someone down because they stole his mackerel.

Well, if you don't like Tendou or Kabuto... you're more than likely not going ot see it and you'll make up your mind that everything about the show it meaningless and stupid.

That can't be helped, but I'm glad that's not the way I see it.

As for Shouichi... I'm sure he's a good guy. I've seen it and like him. Like I said, I'm more like him and follow his path than Tendou's.

I think you're missing out on the Biblical allusions the show is making.

Biblical allusions? I've seen some hear and there, but I need more episodes for perspective.

And really...what, pray tell, can Ashton Tendou possibly teach Jesus Tsugami?

Deerrrr, I dunno. Maybe that they're gay! Huhuhuhuhuhuhhuh, good one! :P :rolleyes2:

That just reflects how good and fixed on their goal the Unknown are, compared to the idiot Worms, who would rather clone Deka Pink than have any sort of agenda.

The agend of the Worms is yet to be seen... and I do hope it's something good. I'm glad to hear the Unknowns are up to something and I'm looking forward to figuring it out and what interesting sign is that they do before attacking someone.... :eyebrow:

Man what the **** is this? This thread is supposed to be about Toku fight scenes, not who can beat who. You guys wanna sit here and discuss who can beat who? Keith, finish Agito first and then go make a thread about it.

Much as I love who can beat who threads, this is just ridiculous. (And not the place for it.) How did we even get to this?

Weeelllll, talking about Toku Fights.. it's not a hard bridge to see why we'd talk about Toku Fighters... Fighting.

And no, I, nor anyone, need watch a full series 'til they're 133t enuff to give their opinions on it.

If you want things back on topic.... talk about it.

Seeing how this thread has progressed, I'm rather apprehensive of attempting to go back to the original topic...But I would like to give my opinion.

If you're a fan of the Chou Sei Shin Series, Gransazer in particular, then I might recommend checking out Guyferd and Cybercop. Overall I'd say the fights in both series aren't all too different from the non-wire fighting seen in Gransazer.

Sure, Guyferd's costumed fights come off rather slow-paced in the beginning of the series, but they get better as the series progresses. I'm currently inclined to believe that they were more concerned with the martial arts form than fast pacing in the fights. Cybercop's only drawback is their experimentation with blue screen effects, but they learn not to overdo it as the series goes on. Both series have a couple of good non-costumed fights too.

I like plugging these shows, especially since I'm so fond of the Chou Sei Shin Series. If more people were interested I might be persuaded to resume making episodes available.

Where's one go to pick up a show like Guyferd or Cybercop?
I can only think of Henshin Digital Heroes for those not interested in getting the R2s. Currently I do have 6 episodes of Cybercop I made available through megaupload. I've been debating whether or not to upload them again since there wasn't much interest.

Jesus Christ, Keith, that was 7 posts in a row on the last page. Can you at least help keep the board a little more clutter-free and use the "Edit" button? It's there for a reason man.

Jesus Christ, Curt, meh.... whatever. It was easier just to reply to each post. I'm at work, so all the editting, copying, pasting, quoting and re-quoting... too much work.

Have a Coke and chill dude.

I could've chilled a lot easier if those posts had been 2 or 3 long ones instead of just thought after thought after thought slapped on there, taking up nearly an entire page. If you're at work and not actually working, you could at least take the time to help clean up some of the clutter.

Dude. Don't do that.
