First off I don't want anybody to take this the wrong way but after spending 2 months to the date on this series I fail to see how Timeranger gets any of the hype that it does.
The characters (Other than Tatsuya and Naoto) felt underdeveloped. The Timeranger team itself felt like it had no chemistry at all. They just felt like they were detached from each other, sorta like they weren't ever even in the same room. All the Londarz seemed like was that they wanted to steal money and bling until Gien went AWAL. Lira just plain screamed all the time not much development for her either. So a crappy set of villains.
The plot. Again, all it seemed like was that The Londarz wanted to do was steal money and bling for 40+ episodes and that's what the story was driven by.
The Music. A mixed bag. Too much, I'm going to use this word very very loosely, "futuristic" sounding techno. None of it stood out at all to me, other than the transformation music.
The "comedy" was unfunny. Even on episode 22, which is supposed to be an entirely silly episode, it was just sorta funny to me. That may be because the characters were so detached from each other though.
I kinda want to know how everybody else thinks of Timeranger. From looking around it seems like it's held up there pretty high but to me it just feels like it failed as a series. If not for the ending I would have said today that the series mercifully ended. I'm glad that wasn't the case but still, it was a hard two months off and on to watch this series.
