Okay, here's one

I had a spare, for my second period class I don't look over my notes because I have a fairly good memory. Anyways, so I'm sitting there playing my GBA I was playing Megaman Battle Network 5 Team Colonel at the time, and these kids walk over to me and say "Hey, are you playing Pokemon?" The dude takes one look at my screen and shouts "HE IS PLAYING POKEMON!" I glaire at them, and I say "If you can't tell the diffrence between Pokemon and Megaman, then you MUST be retarded" :rolleyes2:

Seriously, there's more to a nintendo handheld then fucking pokemon. I always had my GBA on me so I can play when I get bored in class, and I use to get that ALOT.

Hell, I'm a a junior in high school, and we play Pokemon and the like all the time. We started building a C++ based game for it. :laugh:

Depends on what school you're in. Seniors here spend most of the year doing **** and getting all A's.

I can't stand some college professors. They're so condescending.

That's because most of them don't want to be there in the first place. Most people don't realize that Colleges/Universities were never established with the intention of being schools. They were established to be research centers. People with Ph.D's work at Colleges/Universities because they want to do research in their particular field of expertise. The only reason why they "become professors" and teach classes is because it's the only way that the institution can get the income that they need to actually RUN and maintain their programs. It's like a condition of their contracts.

Basically, it goes a little something like this:
College/University - Okay, we'll give you the research grant, but in return, you have to teach "X-amount" of classes.

Ph.D holder/Professor - ****........okay fine.

Now don't get me wrong, there ARE some profs out there that actually care about doing right for their classes, but keep in mind that even though they may have the best of intentions, most of them have NO actual teacher/educator training whatsoever. That's why when you're in college/uni, you really have to take charge of your own studying. I'm not saying that you should completely ignore your profs or anything like that; you just have to realize that you're not in high-school anymore.

Also, I can't stand supply teachers, absouletly can't STAND them. Sometimes, we get the really cool ones, the ones that are actually fun to be around or they'd let us watch a movie all period. But most of the time, we either get the super strict one, or the teacher that doesn't do **** when the class gets out of hand.

Oh yeah, I do my own studying, I just don't like it when some of my teachers talk down to me.

My freshman year was okay. What I disliked was my teachers'(Biology and Sociology) bias teaching, and my Sociology teacher attacking Christianity straught up.

Why did I have this thread months ago? I would have had lots to say but I finished school a few weeks ago when my exams finished so I got over it all quickly
