Speaking of robot pilots. We need a Kabuto Koji,Tetsuya Tsurugi and Duke Fleed from Mazinger,Great Mazinger and Grendizer. That would be too awesome! Especially Duke Fleed.

Yeah, and don't forget Goh and Anna from Godannar. ;)

I know, right?
I wonder how often this actually happens--EG companies presenting prototypes but never really making them. Figuarts have put out a Master Asia proto that was never produced, Max Factory/Figma have shown an Archer prototype (never produced), and back to Bandai with their MG 1/100 Gundam F-90 (shown alongside the MG F-91 but never produced)...

There was some other things that never got off the ground, like Bandai making a Kallen Kouzuki figure (thta looked like a prototype for the AGP line) back in 2007 or so that could 'wear' the armor from an SD Gurren Nishiki.

And let's not get started about that (VERY Figuarts-like) "Custom Char Aznable" figure wherein you could have four face on the figure instead of Char's--this was a promo run only, but meant that Bandai DOES have a Char Aznable Figuarts mold somewhere...

Glorious KibaRanger!
- Oh, A Kiba Ranger!

Still figuring out which ones to preorder from among the boatloads of Sentai SHF.

I hate to say it but Im almost certain I can wait and find the Akiba ones at the discount section of most online stores so I can get them for less in one shipping all at the same time. If Im wrong Il b fine hunting them down.

So it comes down to Zyu and Dai. It might be the same really. I hate to be that guy, but when you can get them for 50% or less if you wait long enough. Wouldnt you?

Thank heavens they dont have 1st release bonuses.

Im finding it easier to preorder Figuarts in general now anyway. Either people arent as interested or stores are stocking up a lot more now so yay. Id rather it was the 2nd reason.

I cannot do that. I do not have the patience to wait for most figures I really want. I must have them the moment they come out!! It's just like video games and movies. Sure, I can get them for cheaper if I wait, but by then, something else will be out that will be newer and I'll either never get it, or I'll get it and never actually use it (as has happened with many items).

Anyway, now that I know there are DaiRanger weapons iN AkibaRanger, I'll probably end up keeping my preorder for RyuuRanger even if Bluefin does bring him over. As for the AkibaRangers, I already have them, so I see no reason to buy them again even if they are different looks. If I got any of them, it would be blue just because she is a different character.

I see what you did there.

Well the screwy thing is Master Asia straight up won a poll amongst collectors as being the most wanted Figuarts. Char and Graham Acker were on that list too (although I think Char was on a list for FZ's and Graham and Asia were on the SHF list). So Bandai KNOWS there's a market for Gundam pilots, I just think it sucks that they to a more obscure lead like Domon, who doesn't have the popularity of Amuro, Char, Setsuna or Athrun and apparently decided that since he sold poorly nobody would want other mecha pilots.

Same with Takuto from Star Driver, he was from a new anime that was unproven, and since he sold poorly we get no more pilots. If they did say, Gai from GGG, Kouji, Duke, or Tetsuya... probably even Baron Ashura from the Mazinger series, I'm sure they'd sell well- regardless of whether they were FZ's or SHF's.

Also, I'm pissed off that Bandai decided to just forget about the 12" Perfect Model line, too. I was REALLY looking forward to their Godzilla, Akiba Red, and Boa Hancock and got the Wild Tiger and C-3PO figures which are both on their way. It's Bandai fault they didn't sell since they were a**holes and decided to charge Hot Toys prices with no prior releases to justify it.
