I think this might be the harshest ending of this season, even though the Horrors were killed, that cannot be a win in any way.

The sex scene with Takeru was a bit unecessary to me though. If there's a criticism I have rewatching The One Who Shines in the Darkness back again, it's that it's trying too hard to be "adult" in some regards. Reminds me of early Torchwood in that regard.

ZEN, Takeru's armor is cool though. Would have loved to see that as a real suit.
