There's been no word on Gambit period, hell Fox didn't even say they have plans of doing Gambit. So pretty much at this point X-Men Origins: Gambit is about as likely as a Squirrel Girl movie.

The list of confirmed X-Men movies after Wolverine is X-Men Origins: Magneto and X-Men: First Class.

Yeah they've been talking about doing an X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2 set in a Japan for a while, since January actually. And by they I believe its just mainly Hugh Jackman. But thats just it, talking no planning.

If it centered pretty much squarely on Wolverine, then that would probably be for the better. I never read that arc, though, so who would be the villain? Lady Deathstrike?

I wish they did Magneto first instead of Wolverine. I have minimal interest in Wolverine... but a film about Magneto (my favorite mutant of them all) I would totally watch.
