Anyway - relies too heavily on reference to the point that you can notice that you cut and paste parts of the original art into your work. Kura said that and I am not the only person did that when creating my own superheroes.

You do know that Toei is just reusing suits, right? Den-O Sword and Strike form comes from the same line. Gaoh and Yuuki are also from the same line. Is there something new that hasn't been noticed?

New Den-O can get away with it due to his origin, but Yuuki can't.

The Den-O suits are based off of the same technology - or at least that's the lore in the series. So, Yuuki and Gaoh, being the enemy/villain are in the same line... The bottom line is that Toei just wants to reuse the base costume and made some minor tweaks. Saves money.

we don't really know yuuki's or gaoh's origins, for all we know yuuki might have been intended to be related to gaoh in some way
