'The Hub' Network Discussion - Coming 10-10-10

This is almost like, FOX Kids all over again!

Back in January, Discovery Communications and Hasbro officially announced a new network coming this fall...The Hub.

About The Hub: Announced in April 2009, the Hasbro, Inc., and Discovery Communications multiplatform joint venture named The Hub will both entertain and educate, featuring content drawn from Hasbro's rich portfolio of entertainment and educational properties built over the past 90 years, including original programming for animation, game shows, and live-action series and specials. The Hub's network and online presence will also include content from Discovery's library of award-winning children's educational programming, as well as feature extensive programming designed to entertain, enlighten, empower and educate kids and families from leading third-party producers worldwide. The Hub is expected to launch in fall 2010, reaching approximately 60 million U.S. households on what is currently Discovery Kids channel. The online home of The Hub is www.hubworld.com.

I get the feeling this network is going to be a success, especially with Margaret Loesch (President and CEO) behind the wheels of this. Discovery Kids will be gone very soon. They're too eyesore to me. It has been dying for years, years back! But, hey, you're right! It's like fox kids all over again! In about three years' time, I have no doubt that it will be huge success!

Perhaps that one day in the future, Power Rangers can come over to the HUB network?? :laugh:

Depending on where you live, it's still on TV.
Up here in Canada Teletoon Retro air's G1 every Saturday (and GI Joe every Sunday btw).

Sounds like both Cartoon Network and FOX Kids before hell came.

I was just saying the other day, this would be a perfect station to bring Power Rangers to should it somehow fail under Nicks hands (which I doubt it will). However, we first need to see how well this station goes. It has a lot of competition...

Well I've got the complete series set for that (as well as G.I. Joe), so I can watch those episodes whenever I want. Too bad they don't have them all in chronological order though.
