The HJU Christmas Booty Thread!

I scored the following:

A Commodore 64 (the original; not that crappy-ass plug-n-play ****) with a whole SHITLOAD of good games! :buttrock:

Also got a Vic-20 (I like old computers. Don't ask... )

Some screwdrivers (Thanks Dad! )

The Orange Box  Already beat Portal!

Fullmetal Alchemist Season 1 part 1

The Guyver 1 & 2 (the live action ones :P)

Kamen Rider THE FIRST! :buttrock:

Then I got about $115 in gift cards at the annual family gathering on Xmas eve, which afforded me the following goodies:

A $15 iTunes card is already deposited to my account

I used my $20 FYE card to buy the original Gojira on DVD :buttrock:

Then I had $55 in Best Buy cards and a $25 Visa, which I spent on the following:

Fullmetal Alchemist Season 1 part 2

Karas: The Revelation (Already watched "The Prophecy"; been waiting for this one for a while)

Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (It was only $5; I couldn't resist! :anime: )

And Overlord for PC

Yep. I think I made out good this year.

Enjoy that!.

*sigh*

My Christmas "Haul"

- Alarm Clock
- Top 50 Moments in TNA Wrestling History
- Candy (Handful of the usual cheap chocolate crap)
- 2 Pairs of Jeans
- 1 Pair of Khaki Pants
- Deodorant (Who gives someone deodorant for Christmas!? I dont stink! I havent even been around you in a whole year!)
- Loofa Sponge (Not a joke)
- Really nice long sleeve black shirt (looks pretty boss)
- Underwear (Again not a joke)
- Socks (Same)
- Some crappy Dragon card game for the Dragonology book, which I don't own
- X-Men 3: The Official Movie Game for the PC. (Worst. Game. Ever. Made.)
And when I try to take the game, jeans that dont fit, and cologne bottle that won't open back to Walmart to get them exchanged "I'm sorry none of that stuff is ours."

I SAW THE GAME SITTING ON THE SHELF YOU DUMBASS!!
so, no Christmas cash, and no returns either.

Ah well, Merry X-Mas to me...

Wow that sucks oO

Indeed my friend. My parents are conservative and stop buying me games a long while back, not even for Christmas. The last game I got was Metroid Prime when it FIRST CAME OUT...Plus I moved out now, and they have no idea I still watch PR or any sentai, but I doubt they would approve of that either. So Bath supplies and clothes has become the norm...I do have one more present to get from my Grandma, and its usually about 50 bucks, so I'm once agian praying to HOLY GOD that she gets me cash.

Still...sounds lame. I mean clothing is okay since you could always use new stuff but deodorant?! and CHEAP chocolate?

I'd rather give a gift card than that kind of stuff. Sure it's more restrictive than money but it shows you, at least, got a VAGUE idea of what the person likes.

You should organise a gift exchange with your friends XD you never know what fun stuff you'll get. Remember...it's all fun and game until someone walks away with a plastic crab.
