It astonishes me just how many different kinds of Kit Kat there seems to be in Japan...

Kani kani kani!!

Here's what I ate tonight!

First melt some butter in a pan, then add chopped onion. Cook until brown then add diced bell pepper in colors of choice (here I had green, red and orange quarters bought pre-cut). Let it all cook nicely over the heat and then add some shredded cooked crab. Here it's actually crab flavored fish but I like it anyway.

Then when the meat is all warm and golden from the onion you put on basmati rice. Here I added some steamed noodles to add a little bit of crunch :D

Mentioned in the El Viewing GLobe that I'm taking culinary classes at a local college..today was our first day of Labs, and here's what I made in one of the classes:

Qubec style meat pie.

I'm going to say this now...I'm not experienced with pie and pasteries at all, and you might notice that there's no bottom layer...I did do a bottom crust, but I think I might've made the dough too thin...

The top crust was actually the one my teacher made, so I used that to close the pie up. :redface2:

A good start! :33 Looks nice and meaty and noms!
Is the crust still uncooked? or does it look dark because it may have soaked in too much of the meaty juices? Either way pastries are DIFFICULT!! :C I can't even do them right at ALL!
Good luck on your second attempt :3 I'm sure it'll even be more delicious especially since this was your first day!

NOMNOMNOM! Keep up the good cookin :333

It's cooked, I don't think the camera picked it up but it's more brown then it looks. I don't have a working oven, unfortnetly so all I have to work with is a small toaster oven. :redface2:

Here's what I made in the second lab I had that day:

Excuse the blurry photograph...:redface2:

It's flank steak if you can't tell though, which was marinated with soysauce, pineapples, pineapple juice, red onions and jalepeno
