The Food Thread!

I live right next to a Japanese market, about 3 minutes away, and I've never tried one before. I think I might try one tomorrow.

They do sell Ramune in cans.

They do. I've seen a couple of those at my local asian market.

Also, I dunno about anyone else, but I'm terrified of opening those bottles...I always think that I'm going to break the damned bottle if I use too much force.

Ramune that come in those glass bottles with a marble are a blalant ripoff. I understand if wanting to try it for the first time but for subsequent enjoyment, I only buy the aluminum bottles that offer far more beverage for a much lower price.

This is the soda candy that I normally buy from the grocery store, there's another kind that has 8 different flavours, but the grocery store only had this in stock and I needed my soda candy fix.

Don't be melodramatic, it doesn't recquire that much force. You can just slowly increase the pressure your putting on it and eventually it'll work.

Some people can't do that through.
I know i don't exactly have what people would call a "Light Touch".

It is more of an inconvenience, rather than a fear, for me to open those glass ramune bottles. All that work and you don't even get a lot of beverage to enjoy.
