We know the aliens are some sort of extra-dimensional war-mongering race, so I'm hoping for some very aggressive designs. Also, uh, hoping to see whoever the main villain is not sit on his ass for like 45 episodes. That'd be nice.

Better than ending up like General Branken of Magirangers who got screwed out of the throne... Though I know it belongs to N Ma, but they did successfully made it look like Branken was the big boss.

I just realized one common similarity...

Arata (GoseiRed) & Eri (GoseiPink) are from Skyic, both have dragon and phoenix respectively.
Ryou (Ryuuranger) & Rin (Houohranger) are of Dai Heritage, both also have dragon and phoenix respectively.
could it be a homage or a coincidence?

Cool. Also ChangeDragon and ChangePhoenix. Though, there mecha weren't the animals.

Having only seen 10 Eps of Dairanger (aka what TVN has done already), the only similarity I've seen is both shows have Green ranger and no Black ranger. Get back to me when I've finished Dairanger.

Also, having not seen Gingaman, the only similarity between Shinkenger and Gingaman is the the head writer, Kobayashi, who would later be head writer of Ryuki, Timeranger, and Den-O.

And the difference between Shinkenger and Turboranger is when Red Turbo fought the big bad early in the series and killed him. Takeru just got his ass handed to him by the big bad.
