Team Dragon Knight is Coming to the Power Morphicon!

To me it almost sounds like people are saying "Oh here have a cheesburger, but you can't have any fries."

Horrible analogy, but I can't think really of a better show to go hand-in-hand with Power Rangers. The idea of the con is promote the fandom and we know the fandom reaches many levels. Hell, would anyone object to having some Sentai actors there? Yeah...I guess they would... but it's not like it wouldn't be welcomed by most.

I suppoooooose. It still sits kind of uncomfortably that a con tailor made for such a small niche would have people with no connection to PR. Or that said people in no way wanted to be associated with PR. But that's me. And besides, when it's all said in done this isn't that big a deal.

I'm not going to try and point out connections between the people coming for KRDK and Power Rangers. There shouldn't be a need to.

If the con is for such a small niche, wouldn't it be beneficial to the FANS attending if there were more guests of a similar genre??? It isn't a stretch to think fans of one show might like others shows of the same genre. Plus, it doesn't look like the KRDK peeps are pushing out any PR panels or guests, they're just adding more for your money. If you're not a fan, fine. It's not like the ticket cost went up more. :rolleyes2:

I would focus on getting people directly related to the show. Don't get me wrong, I adore Lobot's Headgear. I just found it sort of absurd. Like having the entire DK cast show up because one person wrote an episode of Lost Galaxy. But like I said, no big.

No one even said that's why they would show up. There needn't be any connection other than the obvious fact that they're similar shows with overlapping fans.

You realize of course, that no matter how much you people complain or try to analyze this, their still coming weather you like it or not...and quite frankly, you guys should by HAPPY that their coming at all.

I liked Dragon Knight, don't get me wrong here. But I think if its MORPHICON, its should be PR only. Unless they have there on little booth or something. IDK, this is how I feel.

I have no problem with them coming to the Morphicon. It should be made for American henshin heroes similar to how ComicCon and AnimeCon is for Comic and Anime fans. Quite frankly ,no toku really fits at Anime Conventions does it?

If you want more people to pay attention , widen the niche to include fans of Tokusatsu in general from the land of the Rising Sun to the United States and perhaps beyond. The convention could be used to promote newer adaptations , comic versions as well as originals like Comic Con is used for. Who says it has to be at one place. It should atleast have two locations or maybe three with two in America and one outside like in France or in England.

The problem with keeping it Power rangers only is the fact that it doesn't yet have the pull like Star Trek or even Transformers for the public, so keeping it open should be preferential.

Then it comes down to this point again. If it is PR only, then you are going to need people to enforce that PR only rule. No guests or visitors or sellers are allowed to sell/talk/refer to things outside PR.
