Super Sentai VS Discs Reissued

Just got an e-mail from CDJapan that Toei is re-releasing the Super Sentai VS movies in March in a priced-down form until August. All together it's touted as a 14-disc collection (though they're released separately). They did the same thing with the Movie discs a couple of years back. Everything from Ohranger VS Kakuranger up until Gekiranger VS Boukenger is being re-released so it seems they're stopping at the move to theatrical vs V-Cinema releases. Also, the Gogo V movie is being released. I always thought that was a theatrical release but guess it's V-Cinema. I'd like to get these but it would be so nice if this were to be released as a boxset with more than 1 movie per disc. They could easily do this as like a 4-disc set but alas, that never seems to be the case does it. I'm hoping since they stopped at Go-Onger VS Gekiranger and didn't include the summer movies that we'll get Blu-rays of the theatrically released movies (summer and VS) this year. Hopefully with a Blu-ray release of the Super Sentai the Movie box as well. Will definitely drop some money for that one.

Again, wish they would have grouped the team-ups together like that. I know they're longer but only about twice as long. Definitely could have fit more than 1 on a disc. I can understand it buying it year to year but if you're going to do something for an anniversary release, pack em together.

I may get the 2 anniversary ones and maybe a couple of the older ones. I still regret not buying the movies when they were cheaper a couple of years ago. Still holding out hope that they'll come out on Blu-ray this year.

Which Vs. movie has Gaban in it? Might have to pick that one up if it's being re-released.

Well not having seen any of them outside of the recent ones I really couldn't tell you for sure; however, Wikipedia (in all of its completely 100% absolute trustworthy-ness) says that Gavan made an appearance in a Dekaranger stage show that also featured Hurricanger and Abaranger.
