I don't know the exact quotes of it, unlike the Odagiri deal, just the vague details people have mentioned over the years. She supposedly said the generic stuff, not wanting to be known just for a "silly" hero show and wanting to be left alone about her tokusatsu past, even as she fell into obscurity in variety shows. She kept her distance from the genre until pretty much this year it seems, when everybody was just about to forget her altogether. :laugh:

Ahh, haha I saw those pics, I belive she had one last year with go-onger too. I think last year was the OhRanger Anniversary.

Man, I doubt anyone even remembered her as a Sentai Senshi, why was she hating? lol

At this rate the only actors who don't have a problem with toku are Hiroshi Miyauchi and Hassei Takano...

Harsh words that'll probably distance her more. Face it, not every person who acts in tokusatsu will automatically love the genre, fandom, etc. She wants to distance herself so that she can get recognition other than playing Kimberly. I don't blame one-hit wonder actors (Urkal, MMPR cast, The Fonz) if they want to distance themselves in that case.
 
They don't need to love the genre but should atleast show some respect to the beginnings of the careers they have.

Without being Pink Ranger we all know AJJ would have never been on Felicity and then..... oh wait.... that was it.
 
Wasn't it proven that AJJ's remarks about PR were blown way out of proportion? (Someone taking a line from the "I Love the 90s" special the wrong way, I believe...) Why are people still harping on the "She hates PR, I want her to die a slow, painful death" schtick?

It's like playing Wack-A-Mole with one of the dumbest, most annoying toku rumors of all time. It needs to die cold, hard, and now!
