Smallville - Final Season 10

*shrug*

I tend to fast-forward through villains in general. I don't care about them enough to watch them more than is necessary to understand what is going on. I'll watch it for real the first time, but skip past the scenes on re-watches unless they have something else really awesome to recommend them.

Exatly why do you fast-forward through all the villains, characters that make a series based on a comic book character dramatic and, more importantly, comic-booky (especially Lex, who's the second most important character in the mythology)?

Sounds like you just want to watch it for the soapy ****. In which case, go watch Dawson's Creek.

Nope, I fast-forward though that crap, too. I like the heroics, and the family character interactions. I love to watch Lex and Lionel for instance, but Lex and Clark makes me yawn.

Though I love just about everything Chloe does, and really liked the interactions between Clark and Pete as well. Especially after they find out about him.

I love revelation moments, too. I can watch those over and over again.

And by the way, I absolutely loathed Dawson's Creek.

:buttrock:

Plus she is missing out on the greatest version of Lex Luthor.

I loved season 5. It was the best season yet, the show moved away from the "monster of the week" format and finally became more serialized. The show finally developed a good sense of humor and the story moved very quickly. The show finally feels like Buffy (but it's still not as good lol). I'm currently in the middle of season 6 and this season is even better, Justice was epic, seeing Aquaman, Cyborg, The Flash, Green Arrow and Clark team-up was special.

But OH MY GOD. This Clark/Lana rollercoaster is fucking bullshit. I stopped caring about them during the beginning of season 3. How can these writers be so stupid? They've been beating this dead horse for 5 full seasons now...

And Jimmy Olsen is awesome. "I'm your bro, not your foe". How do you not love that?

Just finished season 6. This season was "meh", I didn't think it was as good as season 5, but it had some redeeming qualities. The premiere was great. They added some great characters and really expanded the DC mythology this season, I loved Oliver Queen, Jimmy Olsen and Martian Manhunter this season. And "Justice" is probably my favorite episode so far. The finale was disappointing, Bizarro came out of nowhere and I didn't give a **** about him. A very cool twist to hear Chloe is a "meteor freak" and she can bring people back to life with her tears (WTF?). I actually liked Lex a lot less this season, he has started to become a 2 dimensional villain, I don't feel the show does a good job of explaining why he does his crazy things

I am so fucking sick of Lana Lang. But I can't blame Kristin Kruek, she's done the best with the material given. I really blame these shitty writers who can't think of anything else for her to do. This whole Lana/Clark thing is just a joke at this point...I stopped caring if they get together or not. Chloe or Lois are much better for him. Overall season 6 was "meh"

However I am excited for season 7 (which sounds crazy). Mainly became I heard we get more Oliver Queen and Supergirl joins the show. I've always been a big fan of Supergirl and I think Laura Vandervoort might be the sexiest woman in existence. I look forward to seeing her in a mini skirt.

I just realized...THEY JUST WROTE MARTHA KENT OUT OF THE SHOW. You fucking idiot Smallville writers, why do you get rid of the great characters and keep the shitty ones (Lana).

I would have been fine if they made her a recurring character...and they gave her such a half-assed reason to leave too, and worst of all they put it in the finale like dumbasses, so it got completely overlooked by all the other craziness of the episode.
