Note: This is about Showa design elements that were intergrated into the Heisei riders.

Kuuga - 1

Agito - 2: Similar to their respective previous riders.

Ryuki - V3: Similar face grillplates(Though V3's are horizonal and Ryuki's are vertical).

Faiz - Riderman: Similar helmet designs, though Faiz has a mouth plate covering his mouth.

Blade - X: Silver-armor element and blade weapon.

Hibiki - Amazon: Non-insect based and use claws in combat.
* sidenote: Douji & Hime clones influenced by Kurojusha & Akajusha

Kabuto - Stronger: Kabuto Beetle-based.

Den-O - SkyRider: Similar design in Plat Form.

Kiva - Super1: Chestplate design.

Decade - ZX: Near identical.

Double - Black/Black RX: A combo of the color schemes of Black & RX (CycloneJoker), RoboRider (LunaMetal) and Bio Rider (HeatTrigger).
* Sidenote: Joker is near identical to Black.

Ooz - Shin/Zo/J: Combines the design elements of the three movie riders, J & ZO's segmented armor and Shin's limbs.

Wow your reading way to much into it. We've talked about Bio Rider and RoboRider looking like LunaTrigger in another thread and it's just COINCIDENCE. The only thing I would agree on is Decade and ZX.

And OOO looking like Shin, J, and ZO REALLY?!!

These are quite the stretch. Even Kuuga, I don't know if it compares to Rider 1. Stronger and Kabuto yeah, that's about it. I doubt Toei tries to work these past references into new shows.

The only one I can really see is Kabuto = Stronger, but since I also think that Kabuto was influenced by B-Fighter Kabuto stylistically, make of that what you will.

Kuuga: Rider-1, Stronger, Black.

Agito: V3/Kuuga. G3 manmade Rider-1. With Gills I see the monsterous organic Rider type like Amazon or Shin but but done more in keeping with Rider-1 and Kuuga.

Ryuki: medieval knight visors for all. That plus Kamen Rider for Ryuki. That plus Batman for Knight.

Faiz: X and Stronger's red piping. Stronger was electricity based. Faiz is tech based. Tech runs off electricity.

Blade: Rider-1/YuGiOh protag.

Hibiki: Not designed to be a Rider to begin with and it shows.

Kabuto: Hyper techy version of Stronger.

Den-O: Random Bandai ****.

Kiva: Kuuga by way of Castlevania.

Decade: ZX. ..or ZX if he got drunk at Barbie's dreamhouse. No to be fair, it's really ZX plus the camera that Tsukasa uses.

W: Rider-1 and Black.

OOOs: Random Bandai ****. Outside of bug eyes I don't really get a lot of Rider vibe off this design. It's practically a Sentai combiner.

Hidden Masta: You then see a common link when you look into the suit detail. In fact, had trouble pinning a basis for Ooz until I noticed the image of ZO & J's segment armor. Combined with the spiked forearms of Shin, I made the connection due to Ooz's "3-part body" system. Ultimately, I think it not to be just a concidence but I'm not going to call them "reboots" because they're only "core homages".

Smilodon: Like I said, it's a "certain" design element of the Showa suits that are transfered into the Heisei riders' designs and altered as a result.

Mattcomics: Right about Hibiki, but I did call it as I saw it action-wise. Also for Blade, Titan was influenced by Gelshocker's Sasoritokages while the Spider Undead and Leangle were inspired by Shocker's Spider.
