See, while it certainly violates Faiz's continuity, it really did capture a great vibe from the character. Takumi's return might be one of the best character returns we've ever had. I was worried they'd try and spin Kaixa into a good guy, but thankfully that didn't happen. And Decade was the heart of the film in many ways, which is just fine by me.
OK yes, they had to fight for reasons that didn't really make much sense and a number of Riders are essentially cannon-fodder. But IMO it's the best of the Taisen films and one of the best of the Rider crossover films of recent years, simply because it did some justice to the returning characters, which is rare (hello Mega Max, where past Riders are pathetically weak damsels in distress you could cut out without anybody noticing).
I wonder if Fourze constantly shouting "Kitaaa!" is going to be a thing whenever he returns with a replacement VA? Like Amazon and the way he now constantly screams "Kiii!"
Sad but somehow appropriate that the two dedications at the end were for a man heavily involved with Showa Rider and another man heavily involved with Heisei Rider :nipponlove:
