Shougeki Gouraigan?? New Tokusatsu Hero created by Inoue Toshiki

[Painted_Outlaw]

since Inoue was also the head writer in Decade.

He was no more a "head writer" for DCD than Kobayashi was; he only wrote a few episodes and, that's it.

[Mr. Rhythmic]

it's a love comedy Tokusatsu, so the characters have to be a little bizarre.

I prefer bizarre, but it sounds more sitcom-wacky than Japan-wacky, which Inoue tends to fall into more.

though these three characters remind me of the trio in Kamen Rider Decade: you have a hero from another world, a heroine with unexplained powers and an eccentric grandparent. no surprise since Inoue was also the head writer in Decade.

Oh god, please don't remind me. The finale was by far the most disappointing thing I have ever seen.

EDIT: Cirno's right, actually.

[Jacky392000]

I didn't quite liked Decade myself but hopefully Inoue didn't write anything shitty into the script since Amemiya was in charge of the entire project. show was filmed from November last year until February this year, hence the past tenses.

[Mr. Rhythmic]

I will never forgive "And the true identity of Narutaki is... Colonol Zol?"
WHAT DID THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING

[Ice Ixa]

I think all it says is that Narutaki likes to dress up and imagine he's someone else.

[ooo5]

The whole Narutaki thing isn't Inoue; it's Yonemura.

more characters have been revealed, ahoy! they have also revealed a clearer storyline, but I'll do it later. check back the first post when it's up.

Shimegi Enoku as Rai
A wild man who loves alcohol and women. He agrees with Gou's way of thinking and decides to work together.

Rio as Akiko
A self-proclaimed detective. A mysterious woman whose outfit makes her look like an accomplished detective, however she doesn't act like one and is always poking her head into things like a busybody.

[kanade_sakyo]

This looks like it's going to be a weird (in a wonderful way) series, here's hoping that it will deliver.

................

This is going to be the best toku ever....

[Ice Ixa]

I'm getting a bit worried about the lack of Shouma Yamamoto. We have yet to get one of those of him. I'm hoping he'll still be in the main cast.
