Sharivan and Shaider Next Generation announced!

Yeah, Ryan got something like a powerup in the 2nd season... which consisted of him getting footage from 6 years prior.

It deserves to be stuck in a vault and forgotten. I hope movie sales are poor enough that they won't justify trying to do any more Space Sheriffs stuff in the near future. If Toei wants to revive the Metal Heroes franchise there are many other shows in it that would be much more interesting to do something with than the Space Sheriffs. Even a remake of Kabutack or Robotack would be better than more Space Sheriffs

I get that you just don't think Space Sheriff stuff is any good, but this is going too far into hate territory, isn't it:sweat:? Did the shows do anything to offend you in any way?

Now that we got a production team I'm more confident in, I'm kinda hopeful that these movies will be good. No more awkward kicking maneuvers, and a writer that actually cared about hero stuff and writing a good story.

The big draw of the Space Sheriff and early Metal Heroes shows were the awesome JAC leads and their awesome JAE action. I'm not a fan of Koichi Sakamoto's wire-fu overkill, but these movies should at least be action-heavy and therefore more entertaining than the Gavan movie, with its lazy attempt at focusing on its super predictable "story." (Also: Naruhisa Arakawa is a better writer than Yuuji Kobayashi.)

Anyway, the more exciting news is Hiroshi Watari being in the Sharivan V-Cinema and NAOMI FREAKING MORINAGA being in the Shaider one.

eh, I enjoyed the Gavan Type G movie so this is pretty exciting news. I'm happy that Toei is doing all these revivals (mainly because it's a good excuse for me not to check out the classic series LOL).

still waiting for news on a Goranger reboot movie though, even if it's going to be V-Cinema. oh please make it happen...

I did honestly like Gavan type-G's movie (it's not the greatest and it was a very predictable twist but I still lied it enough for type-G to be the only Space Sheriff I have a Figuart of (ok I missed Gavan's pre-order date but still)
But Sakamoto direction gives me hope for this.

Uh no!:loltongue:

And besides Saban didn't even use these Metal heroes. He used Metalder and Spielban.

If Guardians of the Galaxy is a hit, VR Troopers will be a thinly veiled live action reboot of the Uchuu Keiji but with the names of the Saban show as well as of Metalder and Spielvan designs.

Or at least that is what should happen.

so if we have the Gavan movie, SHTZ and now this, I hope the bloody thing can finally die ...

You sir are evil indeed lol:castlerock:
But let us be honest how can you have 2 movies back to back i will get bored by the similarities in both movies, and no matter how awesome the plots are (if awesome they are) it'll feel like copy and paste. The nostalgia factor about the uchu keiji series was that they Jac actors as main characters who made you believe they were kicking without their suit on, actors nowadays ehhhh:disappoin...

Im uber excited to see the return of Hiroshi Watari, DUDe is that DUDE...RIP Hiroshi Tsubaraya you will be missed...

I for one am quite excited on seeing Koichi Sakamoto finding new ways for exploitative skirt-thigh shots, sexy low-camera angles and all that ryona action with its female co-leads.

I mean wow, they even put one of them in Annie from Shaider cosplay, a character whom the neckbeard of the most neckbeard fandom only know for panty shots and starring in porn.

The man knows his audience, I'll tell you that.
