Man! If so PRAISE GOD ALMIGHTY FOR THAT!

Not true christian catholic weddings are mostly viewed as western style weddings in Japan. Its just popular, it doesnt mean they are.

Well not saying there isnt Japanese people who are christian but if its about weddings, to japanese it has nothing to do about the religion.

Its just a popular style of way to get married.

Christianity is nowhere near the top religion in Japan. However it is over there. & Is highly respected there. You could find at least 1million people.

Well you have to look at the fact that 80% of the population has not been taught about Christianity. Which is a reason why there aren't more.

Not only that there was a time, where people if they were converted to christians that they are executed. I think most of them feared for it and stayed away from it.

Well I think not anymore... I guess.

So 20% is Christian in Japan, the same way there's 20% Protestant Christians in the Philippines?

Not necessarily. As a matter of fact, the percentage is most likely to be much, much less than that (as in, under 10%). Most of the Japanese people I've met have told me that the population there is largely secular/non-religious. Shinto and forms of Buddhism are probably the religions that are most commonly practiced in Japan, but even then, the degree with which the Japanese people practice their religion, whatever it may be, is unknown to us.
