Samurai Sentai Shinkenger rumor/picture thread

Seriously. It's like some people only tune in for the standard events(mecha, ranger) of a super sentai series. There's more to it than that sometimes.

I don't recall him saying anything even close to that. He was merely wondering when we would get pictures of the new warrior. How does that even relate to him only watching the show for that stuff?

Dukemon's Rumors of Juuzou's True Identity

The following is very much a rumor, and should be taken with a grain of salt:

-According to rumor, Fuwa Juuzou's human name seems to have been "Shiba Juuzou". Juuzou was the younger brother of Takeru's father, Entei.

-Juuzou, jealous of his brother for becoming ShinkenRed, may have betrayed Entei to Dokouko, allowing him to eventually kill Entei. In return, Juuzou was granted access to the Sanzu River, while he was still alive.

-It is rumored that Juuzou will reform to fight by his nephew's side as "ShinkenWhite", whose kanji will be the character "十" (Ten- the number, as in Juuzou).

-ShinkenWhite's weapon is a giant Jutte/Jitte:

If the above is true, the ShinkenWhite drawing we saw could be any of three things:

1). A fake (which I don't think it was)

2). An early rendering of ShinkenWhite (this is the most likely)

3). Some sort of fusion of ShinkenRed and ShinkenWhite, perhaps in a Burai gives his powers to Geki kind of way

Wait so, the Japanese created the night stick, that cops use? Cool.

o.oa I'm not sure about Juuzou being related that way with that kind of a revenge plot, but it seemed like in some of the earlier eps that it was hinting that there was some kind of connection between the Shiba family and Dayuu or Juuzou. Like Dayuu reacted in a weird way in ep 8 to the Shiba family crest and all, so something's going on.

Juuzou specifically called himself half human too, which makes me think that it could be a bit more than simply being related. If he is related by blood to Takeru and Entei, I think the reason he's half-human is because a Gedoushuu had previously infiltrated the family through marriage and he was the child that came out of that. Stories like that are common in Japanese myths as well and inspire anime like Inuyasha. It may or may not have been a purposeful infiltration in that it might not have been specifically related to Doukoku. The person might've been there of their own accord for either their own amusement or actually FALLING for someone in the Shiba family. Amusements and being tricked happened quite often in myths, but the latter option happened a lot too although with a very sad outcome.

Usually the spirit/demon partner ended up being found out and then forced to run away. The human partner is usually relieved or happy to be rid of them too as if all of the love they had felt never existed. They don't even express heartache over being deceived, which I find hard to believe. I think I remember I've only read one story where the spirit partner was actually pursued and then the human partner put a shrine to them to make them happy.

In the case of Juuzou though, if his Gedoushuu parent was forced to run away, he was probably discarded and disowned and forced to fend for himself and that's how he ended up where he is.

My thoughts are only a theory as well, but I think Dayuu could be the infiltrator and actually maybe be Juuzou's mother. It would explain her attached obsession with the uchikake and her connection with the crest. It doesn't seem accurate to say that he just betrayed them and got access to the river if he's half-human and jealousy wouldn't make sense either if he's half. I think it's more likely he was the result of some kind of tryst whether he's Entei's brother or not. That's usually the only way in mythology that people end up straddling both the spirit and human worlds. I only know of one species of of demon/spirit that can actually turn a human being into one, and that's after doing a lot of research. Stories like that are incredibly uncommon though, so it makes more sense for Juuzou to be a hanyou instead. It seems more likely that if any betrayal happened, it happened because of revenge over being a rejected child. Why Dayuu and Juuzou aren't closer, I wouldn't be able to tell you, but I doubt Gedoushuu would have the same kind of parenting tactics as humans or necessarily the same kind of attachments (although attachment is there).

In the case of Dayuu, if we are to say that it all happened fairly recently, she would either be Takeru's aunt or his step mother. Since Takeru's Mom is never mentioned in the series, we can assume that she died somewhere earlier on. Nothing really focuses on her either, so I wonder if she died in childbirth because Takeru doesn't seem to have any thoughts about her whatsoever. Dayuu seems to be fundamentally obsessed with memories she had as a bride too.

What if Dayuu is actually Takeru & Juuzou's Mother and she was the one who killed their father. dun dun dun...

That'd be some ****.

But I don't want Takeru to be a Halfy. Eiji was fine cuz 6th's are supposed to have something dramatically unique that sets them apart from the group.

But If Tak is a half breed it makes the group seem off, to me. lol

But then again it would make a great story twist, and Tak is usually made to stand out from the group anyways.

Why Am I always so neutral? It's a curse.

I thought this could be feasible too, but I didn't want to stretch it quite that far just because that seemed to be a bit much.

If so, it might be that Takeru's Gedoushuu abilities hadn't manifested or something.

Still though, it'd be an interesting enough of a twist if he was his half-brother or cousin, but that would be if we assume it happened fairly recently. If we go further back, he could be his Uncle or something too.
