[Anime] Saint Seiya Omega - Talk Up!

Something tells me Orion's gonna pull a Phoenix antagonism just how Ikki was in the beginning.

Maybe it has something to do with how he isn't even in some of the group shots of the main Saints...

I have restrained myself from posting some of the rumors that have surfaced about Eden (due to being too outlandish IMO, even for Saint Seiya standards), but the paint Eden to be somewhat like a middle ground between Phoenix Ikki and Bennu Kagaho (from Lost Canvas).

If at least some of Eden's rumors where true, the cyan haired girl in the opening would be his sister, increasing his similarities to Ikki and Kagaho

Not sure if this was mentioned before: Ryuho is the son of the previous Dragon Saint (could it be Shiryu?).

It hasn't been confirmed, but it is heavily implied. Most of the fandom treats it as a fact by now.

I speculated as much. Why are all the loners the ones with family problems? Besides, seems like the little sis is somehow trapped, might be her necklace that's her Cloth that's controlling her, hence the dark cloth women with pink hair, Saga type- evil change hair color. Wild guess here.

A Saint Seiya Omega article from an animation magazine states that Shiryu is his father.

At the world premiere of the anime, it is mentioned that Shunrei is his mother.

That's has been confirmed by magazines, it's not just part of the "leaked" spoilers( that seem to have some mistakes).

I wonder if Kiki will be the new Aries Saint?! o.o

Is this anime going to be canon to the official timeline? If it is, then wouldn't this mean that Seiya has recovered from his wheelchair state? Then again, the original author doesn't seem to be involved with this anime so it might not be canon. But it still might be canon to the anime timeline, right?

And it's nice to see that Tohru Furuya will be coming back as Seiya! Looking forward to this anime!:D

The official timeline can go screw its own eons! Lost Canvas is way better than Next Dimension and Episode G is too awesome to be non-canon!:buttrock:

And yet she's perfectly fine with garter belt armor. :P

And a magical girl skirt. Seriously underwhelming compared to Marin, Shaina and Yuzuhira! Also not sure how I feel about Aquilla and Orion being downgraded to Bronze cloth. Like theu se of Lionet and Wolf though, always good to give focus to other bronze cloth.

EDIT: about the Palaestra http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palaestra so its not a random word and could easily exist on Sanctuary ground.

Wait Marin is still around? Then why is the new girl the Aquilla Saint? Is Marin a Gold Saint now? Heck why didn't Shaina get a promotion as one of the few Saints who survived the last war? Female Gold Saints would be awesome...

So what's the verdict so far; good or bad? Really want to jump into this knowing it's gonna be a great ride, but I can't get past the necklace holding the armor. Is that even a thing, or did I misread something?

So is The Lost Canvas done? I heard it ended on a cliffhanger but that it's from a different production company so a third season might still happen. Haven't really checked it out since I wanted to wait until it finished but if it's done for might as well watch it now.

What I hear from Omega sounds cool, though really I wanted them to finish the "heaven" saga started with the Apollo movie but I guess that was never going to happen. So what is Omega using as continuity exactly? All the original series up to the Hades saga happened?

So far, Athena's saints now use cloth stones after the events of the Holy War.

It is its own continuity. It's rumored that there might be slight differences from the original continuity.
