Sailor Moon Anime is returning!

I'm just upset,because I feel bad. It makes me feel like a troll,because I believed someone. Now whenever I post any thing on rangerboard or here. People are going to think I'm making **** up.

Every single series mentioned on that image is an obvious fake if you know anything about the production history of the properties and companies involved.

I could do a big post explaining the jokes, but some of them are pretty good and I'd hate to ruin 'em. Anyway, the Gundam SEED entry alone should convince ANYONE that this image is totally fake.

Stars I think has some merits of its own if you don't compare it to the manga, but SuperS I felt was just a bad idea for a magical girl show. Pegasus basically does everything that season and the girls have very little agency. The only things I liked were the body-swap episode and the hilarious stuff with the Amazon Trio drinking and being catty.

If they re-animated Sailor Moon now (which they won't because Pretty Cure) I'd really like to see a completely different character designer adapt the designs, someone with more of a ground in modern shoujo anime. It's kind of startling how far the original Toei art is from Takeuchi's style and I'd be curious to see if her style could even be animated.

It's reasonable to be embarrassed about it, but I think people here will understand you didn't mean any harm. (Can't speak for RB)

Well for a person like me. That hasn't watch much anime a while. Mostly,because I've been so busy getting toku and ****. It easy to fool me,because I don't go on anime news site. I'm way behind on what's going on in anime in other words...

TCan't blame her for getting pissed about the gender-swapping. Do you have any info on why they even did that? It's easy enough to speculate, but it's still insane.

I have nothing solid. The SOS people probably have some crackpot fake Prince Uranus crap to spew about it but afaik there's nothing official.

This. The Dream arc is really cool, there's some Four Generals stuff and the powerups bit is really great.

This. The Dream arc is really cool, there's some Four Generals stuff and the powerups bit is really great.

The Anima-mates were definitely better-conceived than the Amazoness Quartet. I would've liked more episodes with Siren and Crow and fewer with Mouse, personally, but that's no big.

One thing I really enjoyed was Horie Mitsuko's performance as Galaxia and, generally, the type of villain Galaxia was. The anime didn't entirely do right by her but they had an awesome voice and a solid adaptation of the design.

A previous girlfriend I had showed me the Stars series, the one that didn't make it to the US. It wasn't bad, actually. Pretty epic in some places. I think she got bootleg copies, but the subs were surprisingly good. Kind of like someone had made video copies of fansubs and sold it on ebay or something, but then again, it might be something else.

I still think Funimation should buy the rights to the Sailor Moon anime, give us the uncut release that the anime deserves, and maybe release some of the other extra Sailor Moon stuff out there (I'm looking at the toku series...). Funimation all ready has the rights to all three Dragon Ball animes AND One Piece, as well as a handful of many other classic and well known animes. Getting the rights to this would just raise their popularity and fanbase over the top.

I really really want to watch it over again...its just so epic to watch when I was a kid
