Rumor: Toriyama to restart Dargon Ball

Toriyama wanted to end Dragonball so many times before it ended...why on earth would he start it up again? o_o

And if he does, Isn't Goku dead? /barely remembers Buu Saga.

I know. He didn't even like the idea of GT, but he let others produce it. He struggled with Dragon Ball. He wanted to make Gohan the main character of Dragon Ball Z and phase out Goku. When he was finished with it, it was done. He wouldn't continue it. He was done with it all.

Goku came back. He always comes back.

Toriyama needs to make his (and by effect the real) sequel to Dragonball Z, not that GT bullshit

Toriyama doesn't want to continue Dragon Ball or Dragon Ball Z. Nobody should try to get him to do something he does not want to do.

Back then he had more money. Now he may need more money. It's the same reason bands with members who hate each other get back together.

Toriyama won't be doing anything for money now. He has enough with all the royalties he's getting from Dragon Ball merchandise alone.

Heh not even Buu... He wanted to stop after Cell afaik.
But.. I'm sure he'll do it for the money. Well we've got that shitty US DB film... New DB games coming out each year... So I wouldn't be surprised if he'd make new manga or anime for money.

This part I keep hearing is just fan ideas on how it went. :sweat:

and do something different with the characters for years, but fans (and editors) refused to allow it.

Now, this has some backbone. From what I hear, he kept being told by his editors to change the villains for the Android Saga which is probably why Trunks goes "I don't recgnize these guys" or however it went. I don't doubt fans kept bringing Goku back, either.

He flew off and/or ditched his family and friends to train Uub (Kid Buu reincarnated).

IIRC, he just made character designs but yeah, he had no other handle in it. (Dunno if he hated it though)

Honestly, I'd prefer it if Toriyama just writes the occasional oneshot or short manga series.

I quite liked Sand Land. It wasn't fantastic by any means, but it did have some fairly good artwork and it actually ended before Toriyama got bored.
