i don't know Final Wars wasn't that bad, at least it wasn't Godzilla's Revenge(90% stock footage) i was just expecting more Godzilla for his big anniversery, and not focus on the People, it was called Godzilla: Final Wars not X-men meet the matrix.

Eh. I dunno. What version of the movie were you watching? I only saw a couple monster battles, most of which were copout energy-blast battles and nothing of any real substance. I dunno though, I just expected more from a Kitamura Godzilla movie (don't know why). Maybe the fact that it was supposed to be a big final anniversary salute thing and was kinda lackluster just got to me.

Totally get that, I just had fun with it. I think they could've stretched the fights a little bit, but it didn't bug me because the point was that Godzilla was kicking everybody's ass.

And the scene where the mutants took out Ebirah was awesome.

Thanks guys, sorry I haven't been around much (**** midterms), but I think I plan on seeing Gojira and I might pick up all Godzilla 2000-beyond films. I'll get King of the Monsters if I ever find it.

Are those silver boxsets that are like $20 each worth getting?

Take a careful look at what's in them. Some of them are good, some of them include "shudder" the American Godzilla.

Haha, already have a DVD of that. I liked it as a kid, but one of the positives of liking it was that it drew me to the older movies. I found the classic "Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla" because of it. ^_^

Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla is always a classic. Godzilla vs Space Godzilla. Godzilla vs Destroyer, and Godzilla: Fianl Wars is preety bad ass too :thumbs: I have seen them all, these are my favs.

The Millenium series is all good, pretty much, although all for different reasons. (That's Godzilla 2000-Godzilla Final Wars)

Godzilla vs King Kong and Godzilla vs Megalon are great, goofy, so-bad-they're-good examples of seventies stuff.

The original, of course, is where you should start, and get the DVD version called "Gojira" that came out recently, which has the original Japanese version.

I recommend watching Gojira, then buy the Region 3 versions of 1984 and Biollante; they are only ten bucks at yesasia. I think GMK ,Final Wars, GRA ,and Mothra vs Godzilla are other great G films when you watch them in the original language. Just don't buy the region 1 version of GMK because the subs are dubtitles, instead buy the region 3. You can easily get a free trial of Dvd RegionFree for 90 days so you can watch 'em on your PC. Enjoy!

I loved the design besides the Dorsal fins. I tried to watch it on my Itouch and I almost went insane. I deleted it. Go Go Godzilla!!!! :buttrock:
