Rangerboard mods getting too big for their boots!

Thread concerned

Is it me or are certain mods at Rangerboard turning into a bunch of Nazi rulemaking fuckwits...

In case you're wondering, a member of the board posted earlier today about how he had to put his dog to sleep because he had Lyme disease and some of us were sympathethic enough to offer our condolences as you do, regardless of whether it's an animal or a human, myself included and yet because this poster had posted about his dog being put to sleep and wanted advice on how to cope in a situation like the one he was in, the mods known as MegaRed and Ray-Z in their so-called infinite wisdom decided that he shouldn't have posted something like this on Rangerboard and not only did they shut the thread down but Ray-Z decided on a new rule banning mentioning of anyone who's died except for celebrity deaths...

I, of course being the kind and caring person that I am said in the thread concerned about this new rule that it was a bit stupid and also jokingly said that Ray-Z should chill out or take a chill pill and learn to relax instead of being stuck up...

A few minutes later, MegaRed in his arrogance stated that he didn't care what people thought of the new rule and if I didn't like it then I could leave. I replied that I liked Rangerboard too much to leave and that I thought that there was supposed to be a reasonable right to free speech even if you make your complaint known in a reasonable manner...

That's what I love about this place, everyone's friendly here and I'm glad that Keith founded a board like this for us to hang out and chill out in without things degenerating into a flame war...

I know this is a silly thing to say, but I just want to say a big "Thanks" to Keith for bringing us HJU and being an all-round good guy who's always willing to help everyone out here and who knows when to have a laugh, not unlike some of the mods at Rangerboard who must be some of the most miserable bastards on the face of the planet...

Ray-Z has always been a fucktard since he started backing up George's Rodd on all of his stupid ass threads. I am grateful for this place, because we're all great people and if one of us doesn't like our opinions, we simply say "I'm sorry if I offended any of you, but these are my beliefs"....There's no beef between any of us. And when we can all meet up at a convention and just chill and talk about sentai and toku, you know it's all good.

The RangerBoard has a way it wants to be and they're entitled to it. So long as I have a place like this to hang with you guys, I don't care what other placed do.

For the record, Rider Faiz was right to close this. While it's okay to complain and even to post a thread like this, this thread fast run out of control like mad and just become pointless bashing.

Just so ya know... we hear where you're coming from, but leaving the thread open ends up dragging down the rest of the board. :thumbs:

We all have problems w/ other boards.
Pretty much this whole day, I've been splitting my time at work between this board and another one (which I won't mention), and let's just say that other board makes RB look really oranized and well run.

But I'm not gonna go to another forum just to speak about my displeasure about the board or how it's run...it just leads to a big mess down the line.
We all understand how you feel...I just don't want some big war between memebers or even boards to come out of this. And that easily could happen.
