RSW 10.40 FM, on the surface it was pretty much an average radio station with a good variety of music and talk radio programs with a fairly dedicated group of listeners for each of the people that hosted some sort of radio program they have. The star attraction though was the station's amazing ability to get exclusive coverage of the exploits of the five person fighting force known as the Wavengers. For the most part many people were unsure if the Wavengers were even real or not though those that were first had witnesses to their fights with the mysterious beings known as the Nazaan had no doubt in their minds about just how real the Wavengers were. No one ever seemed to suspect a link between the Wavengers or the station and just listened intently whenever breaking news of a Wavenger fight was happening.
In truth there was a very strong connection between the Wavengers and 10.40 FM, unknown to everyone outside the station, the Wavengers were indeed the hosts of 10.40 FM's five most prominent radio programs ,outside of the Wavenger broadcasts of course, a tactic devised by Dr. Reiji Kiryu to allow them to easily move into action even if in the middle of on of their radio shows. Doc Kiryu was a genius but was rather eccentric as evidenced by the various voice codes involved with the Wavenger's gear which often sounded like the things out of cheesy saturday morning shows, overall though he was a good guy and did what he could for the team. Beneath the station was a series of underground facilities which were used by Doc. Kiryu and his assistants maintained their gear and invented new equipment for them when necessary. Of course all of this was well hidden in order to give the illusion that it was nothing more than any old radio station with the expected interior as well as posters depicting their five most prominent hosts and the taglines most associated with their various programs.
At the moment it was around noon, meaning that the later parts of "Hard Rock and Gaijin Smack Talk" was being broadcasted, hosted by Ethan Stiles, a young man from the states who was scouted to become WaveRed. His show was consisted of various rock songs ,which of course were all in English as that was apart of his whole gimmick, his observations of both cultures which he gained from living in both the US and Japan that took the form of rather humorous jokes, and a look into the point of view of a "forgeigner" living in another country. His main target audience is of course people like himself who originate from another country and live there now, but pretty much everyone with a taste for rock and a sense of humor along with a requisite understanding of the English language could enjoy.
"Allright, you just listened Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin, if any of you out there listening in are Gackt fans then you owe this song quite a bit." he said after the song he mentioned ended. "Now I decided that I'll bring up something that im glad they dont have in this country, rednecks..." he said before making a series of humorous observations about sleeveless guys that apparently work for cable companies, cars on lawns , stuffed beavers , trailer parks and tornados. Needless to say the listeners who got the jokes were laughing their asses off by now.
((Do whatever for now, once everyone posts at least once we can get some action going))
