If you wanted to get technical here, who says Luck only works on organics? To be honest, luck is a factor that transcends biological and artificial forms. You put a robot on a slot machine and eventually he'll get 'lucky'.
And in the episode, even Hartford and Spencer question it, saying "luck shouldnt affect him" yadda yadda. So it's not something that wasnt explained. It was touched on.
Yeah, the ending really did blew off Mack's story. I mean the guy went through hell, then he finally excepted the fact that he's an android and then Kalish went and screw things up by ripped off Pinocchio's fate.:disappoin:redface2:
If Kalish had known that everyone was going to see the obvious of Mack's fate then what was the whole point of making him go through that drama and then give him a shitty ending?!
