Well lo and behold you got your wish! :thumbs:
-This was a fun episode. I would say it was filler but it's not because Kilobyte has entered and we have the seeds sown for the rest of the season regarding Tenaya. That being said, this probably did set the woman's rights movement back a couple of years since none of the stuff the girls did actually worked but it was good for what it was.
-"Ziggy/Dillon DOUBLE RIDER KICK!" moment on the Chemical bot.
-I like how they pronounce Vasquez. Like Vaskes or something.
-I'm assuming that Kilobyte is not a fan of the feminist movement?
I'll give it a 4/5
Oh yeah, I nearly forgot! Super cute DillonXK moments. First with the cooking (That was great. "Dr. K, come back here...") and "I dreamed we were on a date." Kyaaaaa, my shipping heart tingles!

Kireizukii/Kilobyte was great. I am glad to see they didn't just use him as another upgraded suit for Venjix. Episode wasn't exactly what I thought it was going to be, but not bad nonetheless. Although some of the plots and themes seemed to be forced a little. "Oh, I had a dream, we were on a date.." "Don't ever drive my car.." "She doesn't know the TRUTH does she?"
And, Tenaya DID call Gemma and Summer annoying princesses. So there is your G3 reference..

Well they sure bluffed us on the banki heh...
I'm sorry but this episode was the worst of this season. It was just LAME! A load of WASTED opportunity. And I'm not just saying that because they completly wasted the AWESOME fight against Straw Banki by cutting to the finisher in a most anti-climactic way. I'm looking at this from the perspective of a fresh new episode.
First of all you got the usual grunt fights wasting precious storytelling time with unexciting fight choreographies (how come they never use their friggin' weapons?!), including one where Gemma's stunt double was WAY WAY obvious.
Then you got Vasquez shoved into this episode for very little narrative reason. We don't remember this chick and they didn't make us care about her self-doubt at all nor did they give her any sort of resolution, making her a superfluous addition to this episode. I think it would have been more interesting and more rewarding to see the female soldiers led by some female corporal protect sleeping men from grinders.
Next you got this RIDICULOUSLY outdate misogynist crap being thrown around by a FRIGIN ROBOT! Seriously?! Who does "girl suck! no they don't!" plots anymore? I'll tell you who...laazy writers! And to make matter worse the girls didn't actually accomplish anything! They needed to be saved by the guys who just woke up and SCOTT had to finish off their prey! Compared to the Go-onger episode where the girls actually defeating Shower Banki on their own? That is NOT a satisfying way to end such a plot. Beside Doctor K who did what she always does (be the genius) none of the girls, Tenaya included, actually succeeded at anything at all! This was really lame storytelling.
And let's skip the bad editing that shows Summer back in her suit after she supposedly ran out of power (could Doctor K have rerouted some powers from the guy's useless suits or something?).
Now I will admit there were some very good point to this episode as well. The ZiggyxK moments were just AWESOME. Kilobyte shows promises as a bastard and we'll enjoy his destruction even more than we did with Kireizky back in Go-onger (who was only in like...2 episodes). Another point I appreciated was the Chemical Bot who, despite being a mute, showed a LOT of personality compared to the usual boring attack bot, so kudos to the suit actor! I also liked the foreshadowing of Tenaya's possible mutiny... she also looked really cool redirecting that lightning bolt.
In the end though this just felt like a huge waste of time!
